was Pillman still a part of The Hart Foundation at the time of his death?or had he left the stable?
I cant remember and cant find any info on it.

according to online world of wrestling he lost to Owen Hart by DQ on 22nd sept 1997 Raw.
Don't know the details of that match but last record i can find of his association with the Hart Foundation was Canadian Stampede.

I don't recall him being evicted or leaving The Hart Foundation, so I would say he was still a member til he died.

He was part of the faction around Summerslam as the Foundation all had stipulations for their matches at Summerslam. Maybe with his singles fued with Goldust he quietly phased out of the Foundation without mention and since he passed so suddenly it wasn't thought of that he wasn't with the group.

Yeah, he just faded out of the Hart Foundation after SummerSlam and began feuding with Goldust over Marlena.
He was to face Foley at Badd Blood, had he not passed away.

I had always assumed he was still a part of the group at his death. He may have been slowly and quietly fading out of the group at the moment, but that must have been the beginning of the fade out.

He was still a part of Hart Foundation at the time. His match with Owen was the Semi Final match in the IC tourney. I want to say it was a schmooze or something, Pillman either got himself DQ'd and attacked Goldust or Austin ran in or something but Im pretty sure it wasnt clean. He was still walking out with the Harts though on the previous weeks raws. (when he wasnt filming clips of him and Marlena)
Little trivia...They were 2 years a part and different events but both Brian Pillman and Owen Hart died while WWE was doing a PPV in Missouri. (I believe Pillman died in Minnesota though)

He's the Owen/Pillman Match: I thought Pillman was always apart of The Hart Foundation... It's amazing hot loud the crowd got when Goldust went after Pillman. The crowds were hot for EVERYTHING during this era. |
