Im planning on going to the UK tapings in November and was justing wondering for those who have been, how long the shows actually last, because of superstars, nxt, dark matches etc and the shows being taped, so they may have to re-record ups.

The last time I went to Smackdown was in '09, so they taped ECW instead of NXT but I imagine it's basically the same. From start to finish, the whole thing took about four hours. It seemed like they didn't take the full time for commercial breaks, which was good because otherwise it would have taken even longer. Instead they just took a minute or so everytime there would normally be a commercial break. At all the other Smackdowns I had been to in the past, they always took the full 3 minutes or whatever that the commercial break would have been alotted. I would guess that Raw only takes about 2 and a half hours, maybe three once you include dark matches.
At the Raw taping, they'll probably start with a dark match, tape the Raw portion of Superstars, tape Raw, then finish it off with a bonus dark match main event.
At the Smackdown taping, they'll probably start with a dark match, tape NXT, tape the Smackdown portion of Superstars, tape Smackdown, then finish it off with a bonus dark match main event.
Of course, that's all under the assumption that they don't change it up any when they have a show in the UK.
