Since I have been completely unable to find any 2-packs 9, I decided to go to a Walmart I always avoid because its in a rough (and apparently very conservative) area of town today. So I go in and look at the 2 packs and it looks like they used to have 9, but only have a very beat up Hart Dynasty left, along with some Punk/Gallows and Cody/Ted. Then I look over at the basic section, which is also very picked over (Yoshi 7, Swagger 9, damaged Ryder 10, and 2x Wrestlemania Punk) and right in front is a 1/1000 Series 7 Sheamus! After the initial excitement, I figure there must be something wrong with it (one of the Teds had a Regal head, after all) but other than a ton of dust, I see no signs of repackaging. Then I look at the number: 666/1000! Now this place is ALWAYS sold out of the good figures right away, so I guess people refused to buy it or maybe returned it because of the number?!? Who in their right mind would pass up such a sweet figure for 8 months because of THAT??? Anyway, no 2-packs 9, but I got Sheamus, as well as the last Pokemon figure I needed and a series 5 Carlito/Primo from the K-mart sale across the street.

Spooky. Does rough + conservative = redneck? In the east (Connecticut), the Walmarts that are setting up for Christmas toys seem to be getting more 2-packs 9 in. If you have anymore Walmarts nearby, I would check them.

Great pickup! I already have a Sheamus 1/1000 and I probably would have left that one on the pegs lol.

I personally think superstitions are only as real as you make them, so I would have bought that bad boy on Easter Sunday with not a worry in the world. Great find though.

Someone probably tried to sell it for more and when they couldn't get what they wanted just returned it.

Most rednecks are rough, and most are conservative, so that makes perfect sense to me. Nice find though! I can't believe anyone would actually pass that up, just because of a silly number.
