Low and behold, I put my investigative reporter hat on and checked out Craigslist, and found most of the ones missing up for sale. I appealed to this young man's conscience and told him details only I would know. I got them back for literarly all the physical change I had in my possession from vending. I got the majority back, I still don't know where some are, whether somebody got them before the apartment maintenance worker did, or she did something else with them, namely a sh*tload of Steamboats and Mattel Legends Rock, and Entrance Greats. So it cost me two days pay, roughly $100 in quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies. I work in vending.
This kid just called me back to THANK ME!?! I told him politely I am the one who is grateful and he knew it was a too good to be true situation. I think he appreciates that grocery bag of coins more than the $600 and $700 offers he had from dealers from CL. This kid doesn't have a lot, not even a bank account to cash a check. It's because of him I haven't lost my faith in humanity. It's funny how the Lord places us in these predictaments and random strangers in our path to restore our faith. Now I have to deal with this storm of a marriage.

Toss her in the dumpster and tell her it took you too long to get her sold too.
Seriously though, I would get out of the relationship. especially since you said she sold some of your other figures behind your back and kept the money. That's flat out theft.

Looking at it closer, he only posted it tonight around 6 eastern time. So the timing was impeccable, he had already got calls from dealers offering him $600/$700. I was blessed that a. he was smart enough to hold out for more and b. something tugged at his conscience knowing that this new windfall was too good to be true.

Id spend the money on buying them back instead of on her, ive done it before with a set of vintage 'madballs' that my wife took to the charity shop, Instead of a new sofa i bought 8 moc madballs, tough.

If I were to think rationally.....Id think to see if these temper tantrums of hers are ongoing, I would suggest she get mental help and leave her ass in the dust if there is nothing that ties you to her besides marriage. You could also explain the value of these items and that you were hoping to resell them to make a profit that could have went toward helping your family or buying her something nice which she will not be receiving anymore and then proceed to bang her best looking friend. Or you could test out the crippler crossface lol

heres what you do...you go grab all of your figures, okay. Now bring them to a storage place. Place said figures in said storage place. Now make sure ALL of your collectibles are safely tucked away in that storage unit, Go home, walk into the basement, open your gas line. Now very important part here, Tell your wife " Hey Hunny, I'm going for a walk but I left a cigarette in the ashtray with a book of matches" . Next you leave and go far far away and hopefully she will light that cigarette and BOOM you have all of your toys and you don't have to deal with that poor excuse of a human being anymore!!!!! IN ALL SERIOUSNESS JUST LEAVE THE SITUATION If she has the balls to throw out your personal belongings then she probably isn't the ideal lady for you, if it was my wife who did this I would say we were going on a trip and leave her in the middle of the  ing sahari desert. Its just uncalled for and Im sorry you had to deal with a crummy situation like that. |

A few questions no none has asked:
How old are you?
How old is she?
How big is the place where you live?
Were you selling your figures to make room?
Was getting rid of your figures part of a "deal" to get married?
Not trying to bag on you. Just trying to get an idea as to why your wife would do this to you.
