Please don't top three year old threads. Also, to my knowledge, K-Kwik never had a Jakks figure or prototype. but I have it sealed No pics, no proof.

With R3, the idea (laser scanned bodies) was great, but in practice it didn't work due to poor joint articulation, ugly looking articulation cuts, some oddly positioned bodyscans (e.g. the curved back Austin, Big Show's bent knees) and most of all - too much part re-use. Plus a lot of the headscans looked odd or were re-used from TTL.
That said, the line did have some big successes - R3 Rikishi and R3 Kane were amazingly good figures, and still look very good today. And the R3 Kane is still the only full-mask Kane head in the figure world that actually used a SCAN of his mask and so has an accurate shape. All the other full-mask Kane heads (both by Jakks and Mattel) were hand-sculpted and the mask shapes don't look anywhere close to right.

When I first saw them I was blown away . I still like them a lot I have all of them variants etc . I do agree the Austin Torsor was pretty bad on others but great for his embrace pose on the ropes . I really liked RVD .

The heads work great on Mattel customs!

Some of the torso molds look very realistic. These figures didn't puff the wrestlers up to superhero proportions, but were guilty of being too skinny sometimes. I love the Nash, Hogan, Jeff Hardy, Test, Stone Cold, and Kurt Angle figures. But then some look bizarre like the Chris Benoit. He just doesn't look like his parts match up right. Overall I'd say the line was a step up from TTL and in some ways Ruthless was a step down. I like Ruthless scale and scans, but the bodies weren't very realistic in the beginning.
EDIT: Gotta pay attention to those dates. I didn't realize I was in an old thread until I read some more comments. I just kind of stopped after a few on the first page.
Glad I did though, that Mr. Perfect looks awesome. And I'm guessing that guy never posts the "K-Kwik" that he "has".

I thought they looked cool but they weren't fun to play with. The only ones I remember being playable was Angle Jericho and Tajiri. I thought Maven was ok. I had a draft Series Undertaker with sucked. it just didn't look right for some reason

They needed more torso molds and bigger arms for a lot of guys. Some were masterpieces like kane and show because those parts were designed specifically for them. They didn't have articulation that could compete with today's standards.

He would have had to have been released in series 1 or 2 in 2001, because he was gone from the WWF in the summer. So he would have to be in production before that.

I think that guy might be talking about a TNA Marvel Ron Killings.

I think that guy might be talking about a TNA Marvel Ron Killings. Then he obviously can't read. If it's a TNA figure, it's not R3 tech, and it'll say Ron Killings on the box, not K-Kwik.

who has the full nWo set of Scott Hall/Nash/Xpac/ and Hogan? Hogan was released in NWO attire in multiple series, and a Hulk Rules box set featuring three Hogans. The NWO set was Hall, Nash, and a TTL X-Pac. Really unfortunate as an R3 X-Pac would have been dynamite. Nobody up until that point had got his likeness correct, and really didn't until the Mattel X-Pac more than 10 years later. As a side note, I remember being a collector here on WF when the R3 Mr. Perfect was still on the schedule to be released. When he was released from WWF and the Unchained Fury series 2 set was cancelled, the crap really hit the fan! I remember a ton of people trying to talk to a member on here who had strong ties to China's factories to see if they could have him "find" an extra R3 Style Perfect. I'm 99.9% sure nothing came of it, and if it was the only prototype of the figure, either someone from Jakks owns it or it had to have been destroyed. Luckily a few years later we got the CS Mr Perfect and all was well with the world!

I absolutely loved the nWo packs they sold. Got a triple pack from my local Argos years ago for the same price as a Ruthless Aggression figure, brilliant.

R3s in pants and tights all looked pretty sweet imo, but good god, guys in trunks looked atrocious. No idea what Jakks were thinking with that leg mould. The worst offender is Triple H.
