I've been reading a lot of posts from collectors complaining that they cannot mix their Jakks with their Mattel figures because of the size difference but I have no problem at all with doing this. It might be because I grew up mixing my brother's LJN figures with my Hasbro figures or the fact that for many years I gladly mixed Hasbro and Jakks (I remember in particular a long rivalry between a Jakks Batista and a Hasbro Berzerker), but I just have no problem mixing Jakks and Mattels. It's just like mixing Ruthless Aggression with Deluxe Aggression is it not? Does anyone else mix the two or am I on my own here?

Some people want their figures to be in scale together. Jakks RA Batista, Undertaker, Kane, Big Show and Great Khali mix best with Mattel for obvious reasons.

That's why imagination is a wonderful thing. I still can't picture a Hasbro Berzerker vs. Jakks Batista in a bedroom main event!
It's not like I didn't have an imagination as a kid - I spent hours outside playing with my toys growing up ~ but I always liked things to be uniformly similar. That's why I loved G.I. Joes because they were 3 3/4" or LJNs that were all roughly the same scale. And although Transformers were cool, I just couldn't get into an big rig transformed Optimus Prime being smaller than the cars.

I mix and find it just fine! all depends how the jakks figure was made. for instance, the RVD that came with the first MITB playset (the NON RSR version) fits damn good next to a Mattel Chris Jericho. Jakks Hogan fits great next a Mattel Ultimate Warrior. LOTR Sting fits good next to a Mattel Vader. CSDA Nash fits great next to Big Show and Kane. I'm sure you know where I am going with this. Plus I have WAY too many nice CS' to just put aside. They have sentimental value as well as some of them are rare. For instance, Dr. Death goes for near $40 on ebay. Some may seem a bit huge as a opposed to certain Mattel figures but it's an overlook for me.

I don't mind mixing Jakks and Mattel. I've been phasing out my Jakks and as far as wrestlers go, I am 100% Mattel now with Jakks suits and refs (my roommate's son came in and was like: "WHY IS THE REFEREE MORE JACKED THAN CENA!?"). I couldn't mix Hasbro with Jakks when I was a kid though, I remember trying with BCA1 Goldust and Bret Hart... Just didn't feel right.
I did mix Hasbro with Bend-ems though, those greatly expanded my roster.
Then, I mixed Jakks BCA with WCW OSFTM, Toybiz, and later on TTLs. Then I got out of collecting for a while and started back up with RAs and mixed those with some TTL until those were phased out of my rosters as well. Its fun to look back at the evolution of my fed(s).

I mix some RA's in my fed, as well as a few toybiz's but I can't mix in DA guys because they're just too big, I can't have guys like AJ and Amazing Red tower over my roster

i can't mix. even my TNA mattel and jakks are separate. Jakks just looks awful next to mattel so i don't want to mix them.

I mix them. Although I don't have my collection set up yet, I've got TTLs, RAs, and now adding Mattels to the collection. They don't all match completely, but they're close. Besides, I collected too many of the TTLs and RA's (including customs that I've made) to just get rid of and switch completely to Mattel figures.
