It's an awesome idea, and great concept, here's where they ruin it.

I like the idea, but the execution has just been horrible. No surprise there.

The positives are that it allows TNA to push wrestlers that mioght not usually get it via wins over opponents they might not usually wrestle. It's a good way way for them to build the next breakout star ala Crimson, while showcasing the fact that RVD still is a solid, viable force. Guys like Devon and the Pope get to showcase their own mini-story within a story through this series.
The negatives are that it takes too long to see an end result. As of now, we still don't have a winner and it feels like it's been going for a year. As a result, it doesn't seem as special. While it shouldn't be a one-night deal IMHO, it also shouldn't drag on to the point people stop caring.
My biggest concern is that Samoa Joe will come out of this with nothing after basically being reduced to last place with negative points. I haven't watched last nights ep yet as I usually watch on Saturday mornings, but I have a feeling that not much has changed.

I loved the initial idea but it forced the mid-to-upper card to become constricted in what could actually be done with those stars. For the last few months, we've been forced to sit through matches with little or no direction. The only angle I can think of involving two BFG series competitors was that involving Devon and Pope. Everyone else just kind of floated around, at least until Joe started destroying guys.
