I know this was 3 months ago, but I wanted to know what people thought about what they had to say about Sting's joker gimmick. When it first started, I would've disagreed with them bashing Sting's current gimmick, but now I can't stand watching Sting. Sorry if this was already posted.

It was terrible months ago. At least now he can be comical with it once in a while. His night in the red suit as the "Network Rep" was actually pretty funny, I thought.

Yeah, I'd rather watch TNA and Sting than listen to these guys. At least I can be entertained by TNA.

If Sting were not headlining TNA pay-per-views and was not still considered the savior of the company against the oppressive Immortal faction, I would have no problem with the new character. The fact that TNA fans are being asked to believe that the "Insane Icon" is the man that will rescue TNA from Hogan and Bischoff is, in my opinion, idiotic. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the Sting character who, back in 2010, knew Hogan's game and tried to tell everyone what he was up to but no one listened. That was an intriguing character and a character I would have paid to see come back and help save the company. This character, in the context in which he is being used, is cringe-worthy.

I've had people who don't watch wrestling tell me they've come accross the Sting/Joker segments while flicking through channels and tell me it was laughably bad and don't understand why anyone would watch it

1st off with that guy who plays the Krimson characterthat is like the joker gimmick i have see promos on youtube and he is far better then Sting doing this. 2nd of all if Sting knows thats he was doing it i dont get why he is still doing it with the guy saying he was blatantly ripped off by TNA no only that for his name too. But i watch TNA here and there for certain matches like the AJ vs Daniels this past week was great. BUT!!!! Joker Sting i cant take anymore

I'd argue the gimmick has done nothing for Sting's Legacy and certainly does nothing for current opinion of him. Sting is one of my all time faves, but this gimmick is just aweful in every way. It's bad enough he was a direct ripoff of the joker, but now he's morphed into some effeminate nutjob, that has an unhealthy obsession with Hogan. If he's gonna do the gimmick at least to it some justice. Ledger was dark and cunning. Sting is confusing and intellectually- disabled.

Are you getting your asses in seats stats from the low amount of tickets sales, low ppv buyrates or plummeting neilsen ratings?

Were you there during the production meeting? Fact is if the dude ripped off a DC Comics gimmick to begin with, he has no right to be bitching that Sting ripped him off or Sting ripped off DC comics or Sting ripped of Oprah.

Both of those guys are complete tools, but the point has been made many times about how awful this gimmick is.

Its not like Sting's previous gimmick wasn't also already stolen from a comic character that had a major motion picture...
But yeah, if Krimson was the first wrestler to do the Joker deal, then it was HIS thing. Jesse and Festus were based off of the characters from Of Mice And Men, if TNA did something similar everyone would be in agreeance that TNA ripped the gimmick from WWE, not "well WWE ripped it off of a book, so TNA can do it too!"
I actually don't mind it, at least its something new, if not original or very good. Better than having Gunner in the main event

I hate the Joker gimmick. parts are just directly lifted (I.E. he actually quoted ''Some men just want to watch the world burn''

Sting is just awful nowadays.
And if Krimson had started dressing like the Crow the world would be tweaking out. Even if he wasn't basing it off Sting, it'd still be ripping off Sting.
