WWE has always tried to add elements of Hollywood into there show. What do you think is there most over the top one?
For me, I'd have to say Shawn Michaels's whole ascension from heaven at Mania 25.

To be fair, the most over the top s*** they do has to be Undertaker using mystical powers like sending lightning bolts towards the ring... don't ya think?

Yeah it's pretty over the top, but Undertaker's entire gimmick is pretty over the top as it is.

Well you gotta remember Undertaker debuted in 1990. He is pretty much using an updated version of his gimmick when he started. And all the gimmicks were over the top back then. But, he's the friggin Undertaker.

I'd say the Undertaker's whole gimmick, yeah. But to be honest, I misunderstood the subject and came in here ready to say the Worm or the People's Elbow.

I think the lightning and fire effects for Taker & Kane in the late 90's were appropriate for the time. It was during the attitude era and they were both getting over as monstrous.
In my opinion the most ridiculous effect they've used is the mood music/lighting when someone speaks, or maybe that stupid skit where Hornswoggle painted a hole and ran into it, while Chavo hit the wall. Am I f*cking watching Buggs Bunny or something?!

Anybody remember at WM26 when Santino took a bite out of the Slim Jim and every time he did, the person would change? One of them was Mean Gene in a dress and I think it ended up being Melina on the final bite.

I was always a WCW guy. That was pretty damn over the top though. I hate Cena's stupid entrances he's had. Like the Mafia one, and the choir one. I also hated HHH's King Of Kings entrance. I hate at Mania's within the last 6 to 7 years or so, how they've tried over define everyone's character as much as possible. |

When they actually edited lightning into the video when Taker used to send lightning strikes at people. Like Royal Rumble 06. Actual pyro is one thing, when it's not even happening in the arena is another.

Recently the music behind promos has been terrible. Foley didn't need it when he was cutting a promo on WWE vs. ECW, so I don't see what it added to Kane and now Aksana's promos other than making them way more cheesy than they need(ed) to be.

Lol talking about Cena's entrances, the WM22 was so bad. I just rewatched the main event a few days ago and Cena looks like a damn goon when he comes out in the derby hat and jacket. I wanted to punch myself in the face.
