[I also remember a few analysts saying Clausen would be picked over Bradford. Some did, yeah, but I think there's a pretty big difference between RGIII and Jimmy Clausen.

Why would taking RGIII over Luck be preposterous, or even laughable, though? RGIII won the Heisman, Luck did not.

It doesn't, but what skills does Griffin not possess that an NFL quarterback needs? From everything I've seen, he has all the raw skills and doesn't appear to be a headcase.

Again I ask, what does Griffin not possess that Luck and Barkley do?

Oh, don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Griffin as a pro prospect. But I think Luck has the better body of work. Is it even confirmed that Griffin is coming out yet?

It's not confirmed that anyone is coming out, really.

Again I ask, what does Griffin not possess that Luck and Barkley do? Griffin is a stat machine, he certainly has some amazing numbers and deserved every accomplishment he achieved this year...However, his short to intermediate accuracy is not very good. Dont let the 72% accuracy rating fool you, his short game has a lot to be left desired. Not to mention he plays in the Big 12 which is notorious for not having pass defenses. He has an EXCELLENT deep ball but in the NFL you cant just throw the deep ball at all times. Griffin is fast and has that "pure athlete" athleticism but as a QB has very average (to below average) footwork. All of his "flaws" so to speak are things that can be worked on and improved but if you're looking for a "pick now, play now" type QB.....Luck and Barkley are your top two choices.

I'm no draft guru by any means, but his footwork looked much improved from last year.

I know that, I'm just going by what I've seen from RGIII - he has a lot to offer with his legs, and he throws a pretty looking ball. Not to mention he doesn't turn the ball over much. Luck is very good, no doubt, but it's not absurd to compare the two. They're very different QBs. Personally, my favorite QB coming out of the draft is Case Keenum.

Laugh now. I said the same thing about Cam Newton last year and everyone laughed. Then he went No. 1 overall to Carolina. True, but teams at this point would be dumb to take anyone else if Luck is still out there.

This was the example set by Capt. Holmes: First he fumbled on the first Jets’ possession, a ball that was picked up by Eagles defensive end Juqua Parker and returned for a touchdown. Then he let a pass deflect off his hands three minutes later, leading to an interception that four minutes later cost the Jets another seven points. Holmes, in just one quarter, almost single-handedly dug the Jets a 14-0 hole. So how did he react in the second quarter when he caught a touchdown pass to cut the Eagles’ lead to a mere 18 points? He stood in the back of the end zone, put his cleat on the football, and waved his arms like an eagle. The yellow flag was out of the referee’s pocket before he was even done flapping. When asked after the game if he knew this, Holmes made a show of leaning forward to speak directly into the microphone. “I’m a veteran,” said Holmes, who was wearing a black T-shirt with a sequined Superman logo. “I’ve been in the league for six years. Yes, I did know.” That’s the team captain, appointed by Ryan himself — a decision that quickly became an issue when the receiver ripped the offensive line after an early loss to the Ravens. LOL WHAT A CLASS ACT! Yeah cuz he is the first WR to over celebrate.

Man...between the power outages and the terrible play on both sides of the ball...the Steelers are essentially handing the division to the Ravens. Ugh.
