I wonder if Rex Ryan will still declare that the Jets will win the Super Bowl in his post game pressER?

Prior to the season, everyone and his brother picked either the Cowboys or the Eagles to win the NFC East. I grew sick of hearing about all that "Cowboys talent", especially from homers like Deion Sanders and Michael Irvin. Seems to me that even if Dallas wins tonight, Romo will have merely met expectations, not exceeded them. Funny thing is: the Giants weren't even supposed to be in the conversation yet, here they are, in Week 17, with the same opportunity as the Cowboys. The truest measure of a QB is: Did he make the most of those around him? No way Romo compares to Eli in that intangible, and every honest Cowboys fan knows it. What do you mean? EVERYONE picked the Eagles to win. The Cowboys and Giants were almost even odds going into the year. And no, I completely disagree with you on Romo and for you to even say that pretty much proves that you have no ing idea what you're talking about when it comes to watching him as a quarterback. The Cowboys' offense has been fine. It has been their defense - specifically the secondary - that has ed them in recent weeks.

It's BS the Saints don't have a first round bye. Niners don't deserve one.

I'm just psyched Detroit lost because if the Falcons win, which looks likely, they don't have to play the Saints again. I'd much rather have the cowboys or giants.

It's amazing that this is the same team that beat the Saints and Falcons a few months ago.

Way to let your love for your team ignore the fact that Eli has had to withstand way more this season than Romo, and has made more out of what he was given this season than Romo has..but in the end they're both 8-7 going into a divisional championship game.. I know Romo very well, he's the perfect example of a QB with all the intangibles to lead his team to the promise land. Just hasn't done it.

The Giants and the Cowboys have pretty much been the same team this season. Eli should have a few more TDs (tied for the lead in dropped passes), but to take anything away from Romo at this point is stupid. Both QBs have carried their team to this point, and anyone taking away anything from either of them is a ing idiot.

Agree completely, I'm sick of hearing all this "choke" business particularly with Romo and I've heard unfair criticism of Eli too. At the end of the day, both of the secondary's have made it difficult for both QB's.

Eli Manning "led his team to a Super Bowl" in one of his worst seasons as a pro. He is having by far the best season of his career this year and his team is not likely to win the Super Bowl. I said absolutely nothing about Eli whatsoever in my previous response. I've only had nice things to say about Eli all year. I'm being realistic about Romo. He has been great this year. The NFL is a team sport. Now off with this poop.

Both QBs have carried their team to this point, and anyone taking away anything from either of them is a ing idiot. Giants players who were on PUP list/missed games in 2011 Hakeem Nicks (3), Mario Manningham (6), Victor Cruz (2) Jake Ballard (2, will be 3 today), Justin Tuck (7, you could say the whole season), Prince Amukamara (12), Ahmad Bradshaw (5), Chris Snee (3), Ramses Barden (11), Kenny Phillips (2), Michael Boley (3), Osi Umenyiora (6), Brandon Jacobs (3), David Baas (5), Henry Hynoski (6)..those are just guys that matter by the way. Giants players lost for the season/IR Terrell Thomas, Jonathon Goff, Dominek Hixon, Clint Sintim, Marvin Austin, Chad Jones, Will Beatty, Michael Coe, Justin Tryon, Stacy Andrews, Michael Clayton. No offensive line, no secondary, barely no receivers at times, no run game and Eli drives his team down the field to win games in the fourth quarter (6) times this season, maybe even 8 times if a couple things go his way at the end of the game (drops) Enough said.
