It was either him or 6 games of Matt Stafford until he breaks something and goes on IR Romo runs the same risk, whens the last time he played all 16 games?

Romo runs the same risk, whens the last time he played all 16 games? He missed 3 games in 2008. That's about it, prior to last year.

Haven't been on this site in a few months, but it's time for football so I figured now was a good time to re-visit. Here's to hoping the Giants take care of business on Sunday and Eli doesn't throw 34 interceptions.

Nothing to add to this right now except for FALCONS all the way. Excited and terrified at the same time, because it is the Falcons none the less. I also think the Saints take a small step back this year, and go 8-8 or something. No reason other than its the NFL and few teams are consistently very good for long.

By the way, if you averaged out Romo's stats per game in 2010 (removing week 7 when he only threw 7 passes before getting hurt), he was on pace for...
5011 yards passing 32 touchdowns
Prettay, prettay good.
He did play like a vagina, but his fantasy stats were still nice.

Should be a good season, I hope. Seems like everyone's overlooking the Giants this year, as we were in 2007. I just hope Eli can step up, the defense is fine and will be one of the best in the league, it's the offense that needs to lead us.

The Giants' secondary is in serious trouble, me thinks.
Other than that, yeah, I think the Giants are being overlooked.

Pretty dumb move. Gabbert doesn't put them in the best position to win, nor does bum ass McCown. Garrard was pretty good last year and they should have given him another chance. AFC South is wide open, and with Garrard I think the Jags coulda made noise.

I am a little surprised they cut him, but I had a feeling he would be benched eventually.

Garrard was due 8$ mil or something, so thats why. Its Luke McKown time.
Maybe the Jaguars are going for Luck too?

Wow. Did not see that coming...
Also, wtf would they draft a first round QB and than try to win the Luck sweepstakes?

Deadskins should go after Garrard once he clears waivers. If they think they're going to win any games with Beck or Grossman they're ing goofy.

I'm not so sure Garrard to the Redskins is the best idea. McNabb is twice the player Garrard'll probably ever be, but they're a very similar player all in all. McNabb, personal problems with Shanahan aside, didn't really seem to fit the mold Mike's trying to build there. See, a place like Philly that has a coach who has adapted to a fight or flight QB would be where Garrard needs to go, because while he's still kids young, he's too old to change his ways now. It should be interesting to see where he winds up.
