Lesnar is one of my favorite fighters. But why in the hell would he take a fight with Overeem who is such a great striker. And Lesnar CANNOT take a Punch!!!

Lesnar is one of my favorite fighters. But why in the hell would he take a fight with Overeem who is such a great striker. And Lesnar CANNOT take a Punch!!! He can take a great punch. Its just he doesn't like getting hit and his reactions TO getting hit are what screws him(turtling up, running away, backpeddling). He's got a good chin. Carwin couldn't KO him. Cain couldn't KO him(he wasn't out) and he took a great knee from Mir the second time. Either way, I see Overeem, if he can stay on the feet, being the first to knock Lesnar's lights out.

The Demolition Man is gonna ram that knee right into that cock on Brock Lesnar's chest.

I want to say Overeem has this fight but if he follows a similar game plan to Werdum, Lesnar has a chance. Brock could also pull out a win he could learn to slow the hell down and use the time given to secure take-downs and work his opponent over then simply bull rush them knock them down and give them space in the clinch or guard to get back up.

This is gonna be fantastic. I truthfully hope Lesnar gets ed and made humble by Overeem, but it'll be a good fight.

HUGE fight, literally. Insane. Although, I question them putting Lesnar in there with Overeem in his return fight. I really wanna see this fight, but this is not a good business decision to build up a returning Brock Lesnar. A lot of people are voting against him, so hopefully he can pull off a suprise victory. This. I usually understand most business moves by the UFC - but this one baffles me... you're putting your highest-profile fighter and biggest PPV draw (coming off a serious illness/14 month lay-off) in against the "current" Strikeforce champion and best striker in the HW division?? Damn. It's just about the worst fight, style-wise, you could make for Brock. Not to mention, a lot of casual UFC fans won't even know who Overeem is... I would have thought it best to build them both up a bit before facing each other. I'd love Brock to win this and prove all his critics wrong - but it's a big ask... I just get the feeling he's going to get KTFO.

After the year we've had so far, I wouldn't be surprised to see Brock win.

After the year we've had so far, I wouldn't be surprised to see Brock win. Hopefully Brock doesn't ditch his game plan and tries to rush the fight like he did with Cain. I'm hoping he puts on another performance like he did in the rematch against Mir. But still, if he gets tagged hard I'm expecting him to wilt. I hope that's not the case, but facts don't lie.

See I don't think it's a bad business move. A bit of Lesnar's steam is out after the beating he took from Carwin before the win there, and the loss to Cain. But he is still a draw. So if Overeem, who a lot of casual fans don't know, comes in, and faces one of the most well known fighters in the UFC, and knocks him the out, they just made a new star. And if Lesnar wins, it doesn't hurt Overeem to the casual fans, he'll just need ot rebound. And if Lesnar loses, they can start off putting him against some lesser opponents, and build him back up, and he can actually grow as a fighter, rather than be put against top notch competition all of the time so it's hard to implement new stuff. So either Brock re establishs himself in a huge way, or they build up a new star. But win or lose, I think the casual Brock fans will still watch any of his fights, even if he loses.

I hope Brock comes in with some kind of epic beard, so I can make a joke of bear vs. gorilla during the fight.

I'd love to see Lesnar come out guns blazing, and just knock the out of Overeem. Not that I have anything against the Reem, just be a hell of a shocker. Brock could be quite the force all over the place if he tighten ups the striking, and can learn to not panic once he's been hit a few times.

I would love to see Brock win this one, but no question Overeem has WAY more experience. This is a very dangerous fight for Brock, but you just never know how a fight will turn out. It'll be an awesome fight, that's for sure. There's no way it'll go all 5 rounds. It could be a quick, short night for either guy. I'm lookin' forward to it.
Also, I'm hoping for a win for Cerrone. What Diaz did at the pre-fight press-conference wasn't too classy. I hope Cerrone teaches him a lesson.

Lesnar has never taken an easy fight. I respect him for that and I hope he wins.
..and here is to hoping Cerrone gives Nate the ass-whoopin he desperately needs...you never knock-off a cowboys hat...
