i would say its pretty clear hendo and shogun would be the main event. 139 with vitor/le as the main event, wouldve been the first one i skipped since maynard/edgar 2... and i only missed that because i was at work.

LOL Co-main event....
Should be an interesting fight. Glad UFC talked Hendo into taking it, hoping Shogun comes in good shape.

Vitor is injured. Wanderlei Silva will take his place.

So we have Hendo, Shogun AND Wanderlei on the same card?
I like.

"Hey Vitor, take my name out of your mouth until you show up for half as many fights as you pullout of."
I love Chael Sonnen.

So when Wanderlei loses, will he finally be released?

"When" Wanderlei loses? Hmmm.
Scott Smith is a scrub and he knocked out Le. I would consider Wanderlei better than Smith. I think it's more in favor of Le actually because of kicks, but I think Wanderlei can knock him out. Le doesn't have the kind of KO power Wanderlei does.

Meh I have little to no faith with Wanderlei, I respect what he has done but I think he needs to go, much like Tito, sure you can pick that one win once in a while, but for the most part guys like them need to move along.
That's just my opinion though, 's time for the new faces of MMA.

Beyond that, it's not like MMA is similar to wrestling where older, struggling guys still manage to hog main event spots, title shots, or tv time from other fighters. Both guys may get paired with an up and comer here and there, but it's not like either is holding anyone, or any aspect of their division in general, back.
No fighter, regardless of age or mixed success, needs to "move along" for "new faces" unless they're getting annihilated several times a year in fights. At that point, it becomes a matter of not wanting the guy to suffer any permanent damage, or become punch drunk like some of the older boxers we see today.
In that regard, I do admit that there should be some concern over Wandy and his next fights, due to the type of losses he's suffered in recent years. Still, he certainly does have a shot at beating Le, who has become more of a part time fighter in recent years.

Hendo's return (against Shogun, no less), Bowles Vs Faber - and Wandy Vs Cung Le, which will be very interesting - I think Silva could win this one if he catches Le cleanly. I swear Vitor is like the Kevin Nash of MMA, dude gets injured at least once a year. DAMN. Lol
