.....near enough. Its bound to happen, the guy is ready. Angle has got his olympic training coming up, not to mention he still has to be punished for his DUI. If Roode doesn't leave Bound For Glory World Champ and they have some bullcrapending where he's screwed out of the title, like Storm attacking him or something, I'm going to be pissed the off

Yeah, I picked Roode as the guy I wanted to win before the tournament started, as I just honestly believe he is the total package real deal, and a big part of me wants to say the belt going on him at BFG is sure thing. However, it's TNA, and this Immortal angle is atrocious, so who knows what will happen with Immortal/Angle/BMI/possibly Fortune all being involved.
Last night they reassured me that he was the next guy in line, which he is more than deserving of, but hopefully they just do the predictable thing and put the title on him as a result of an amazing match with Kurt Angle, wherein he passes the torch. I am very excited for Roode's potential title run though as I think he will make a great top guy.

Roode is nothing more than a second fiddle type guy. His catch phrase is awful and he has no charisma. Major fail if TNA puts the belt on him. Honestly, I find it to be a joke that he is challenging for the TNA Title at the biggest ppv for the company. With guys like AJ, Daniels, Joe, Morgan, etc. being so much more of a credible challenger, I am pretty dissapointed.
I hope Joe takes Roode out now.

Joe is as un-entertaining as they come in TNA, he simply doesn't care anymore. They've pushed AJ as the face how many times and its failed. Daniels is almost 40 years old and isnt a credible Main-Eventer. Matt Morgan ing sucks. Time to push a new star, and Bobby Roode is that guy.

Joe has been burried and made to look like a joke. And I'm sorry but A.J. and Daniels both have become more stale than a bag of chips left open for a week. Roode should have gotten this push a long time.

Joe is not a credible main event guy, if he wasn't so damned lazy and actually gave a craphe'd perhaps still be main eventing.
So glad Roode is the No.1 contender, someone different and is a breath of fresh air, I was getting sick of them trying to cram AJ Styles down everyones throat, he simply doesn't have what it takes to be a big time player.

Im actually hoping that Roode & Storm feud for the world title somewhere down the line. But yeah, Roode is ready and he deserves that strap. TNA would actually be refreshing if someone other than Anderson, Angle, & Sting had the world title.

If Roode doesn't get the title, then it'll only go to further prove their stupidity.

Bobby Roode reminds me of a "Franchise" kind of character. Shane Douglas was young, out spoken and had the look in 1994 when they wanted to elevate ECW. Bobby Roode has that same look, and can work the mic' amazingly well. I think Bobby would make a great TNA World Champion.
It would be nice to see Daniels get it, but ROH wouldn't even give him the shot to carry the ball, so TNA definitely won't do it either.
Samoa Joe just plain sucks now. And it's not because Joe sucks as a wrestler, I think just after Joe didn't get resigned by TNA when his contract expired and they chose to resign him a month later just because they could, I really think it killed Joe's self esteem.
Plus TNA relies too much on ex WWE stars to main event their shows. TNA needs to realize that if the WWE didn't use them as top stars, then why should TNA??
But I am pulling for Bobby to win the TNA World Title, that guy deserves it!! Plus he's a Canadian, I dig that!!

It's time. I'd really like to see him go over Angle. No screwjob finish just a clean win for the guy. What more could TNA fans ask for?

Roode HAS to go over Angle, if he doesn't and he wins it down the line it will kill his push. He needs to win it and keep it into 2012. Too many quick title switches kill peoples push.
Roode as champ will be good, I look forward to having a new guy on top, but he must keep the title, Andersons title reigns have been crapcus he's held it twice for a week or two at a time, pointless.

Just remember one important thing, giving the belt to Roode won't mean squat, unless they then present him on TV like he belongs as champion. Case in point, when they put the TNA title on Joe. They waited far too long to put the belt on him, and then once he had it, they didn't book him like he was 'The man' one bit. So don't get too excited if Roode gets the belt.

Joe doesn't care anymore because he's been in TNA for YEARS without them giving him a credible push. He got his Championship reign years too late. I'd have given up too if I was Joe. Go back to ROH or look for a shot with the WWE.
