lol i was thinking the same thing! I tried looking up to see if there was any way to go back further than 90 days on eBay but looks like no luck. I'll keep looking for some of those old Figures Inc catalogs but I think I might have unfortunately thrown them away

why would you include the word toymaker in the description? was it produced by osftm like the figures? thats not the same company that made the buddies. you should be able to look at your paypal records to see who you received the payment from and could then contact the person.

haha. I didn't even notice toymaker until you mentioned it. I didn't know too much about them, I still don't even know the company without looking in this thread but I couldn't even guess why I put toymaker since I didn't add WCW or ECW. I still wonder why I got $20.00 if it's so rare. Maybe the item listing without the company is why. I e-mailed the buyer, but with nearly three years I wonder if the e-mail address is still even valid. Hopefully someone with more computer or ebay knowledge can use the item # and find it. I just don't know enough about computers to do it.

I sent a comment to the figures toy co. site aka figures, inc. just bringing up the subject of Atlantis to see if they could comment. Here is what they responded:
they sold out years ago In a message dated 10/11/2011 9:40:51 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time, my e-mail@hotmail.com writes: Comments or Questions: In 1996 I ordered an Atlantis wrestling buddy from your catalog. Apparently they are rare. Did you sell out of these as I didn't see anyone your site. Thank you for response.

do you have the actual web address the links are down those are the addresses, i was using a site that takes snap shots of web sites, archives them and allows you to view them as they appeared in the past. it gives you the specific dates and times of when the site took snap shots and you can select from them. so, a direct link to those pages would no longer exist. just snap shots taken by this site. be sure to copy and paste the whole link though, cuz they just worked for me.

I don't recall the pic. being in the catalog though not 100% sure. This was around Christmas 1996 that I got it. They probably listed Vampiro, Atlantis along with the other two but since I only knew Atlantis and Vampiro from dollar store toys I got them. Someone should get in touch with ebay support and look up the item # if it's not too much of their time and they want to find the buddy.

Now I remember why I put toymakers in the headline. It was because I was selling the buddy and the 6" toymakers carded figure as well as a loose one.

Well I checked my old Figs Inc catalogs. I knew where they were but it was a chore to get to them. Then when I found them the closest ones were from 2000 +. Those werent any good since somebody here already checked them. So I dug further into the dust. Then I finally found what I was looking for. The earliest catalog I have is #142 Summer 1995 & there is nothing from CMLL available. LOL I had forgotten that the early Figs Inc catalogs were tiny that resemble pamphlets more than catalogs. I also got me thinking how I got these catalogs in the first place since I dont recall ordering anything from them back then. But maybe I did. IDK as I get older I forget these things. The next one I have is #145 Spring 1996. I dont know what happend to the other two. Im pretty sure I didnt get them. On the cover is says "New Wrestling Buddies Inside" so Im gonna assume this is when they debuted here. Inside they have the reg OSFTM figures Rayo de Jalisco, Vampiro, Ultimo Dragon, & Lizmark @ $10 ea or $33 for all 4. For the wrestling buudies they only have Pierroth & Tinieblas @ $25 easor both for $40. All the pics are b&w and of the wrestlers & some kid hugging a buddy, not of the actual toys. The next catalog I have is #146 Fall 1996. In the lucha section it says "We now have four different ones to choose from" And sure enough they have the Vampiro & Atlantis wrestling buddies @ $25 ea or 2 for $40 or all 4 for $75. Again no pics, just of the wrestlers & a Pierroth buddy. So to recap THE ATLANTIS WRESTLING BUDDY DOES EXIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!And heres the kicker in the very next catalog #147 Winter 1996 the Atlantis wrestling buddy is no longer available. LOL. Boy that was fast. I dont think Ive ever seen something sell out that fast @ Figs Inc. But to be fair Atlantis is the most popular & liked out of those 4 back then even today. Hes a living legend & I believe he just celebrated his 25th year in wrestling.
