It is being reported by ProWrestling.NET that Ric Flair sustained an injury to his left arm during his match against Sting at the Impact Wrestling taping which is to air tomorrow on Spike TV. Those backstage watching the match were not impressed claiming Flair was rusty from not wrestling of late and Sting forgot planned spots in the match. It was so bad that it had no place on TV said one source. -------------------------------------------
Obviously impact aired last night, but this wasn't posted.

I watched that match and I loved it.
Flair made me laugh so many times with his trademark spots (bump from a simple slap, beat up Sting, here he comes! EYE POKE.) It was insanely entertaining in my opinion. Everybody has their own opinion, but such a negative one is one that I don't agree with.

I thought his arm was hurt during the match. Crazy old b@stard and Sting put an alright match on last night.

I figured it was because he elbow drops the mat during promos.

I expected this match to be the drizzling Chocolate Sharks, but it wasn't actually that bad for what they did. Sometimes it doesn't pay to read what people say about a match and you need to just watch it for yourself to be the judge.

I wish I hadn't read the reviews on the internet, because I went into the show on Thursday expecting it to be horrible and I kept waiting for it to turn horrible....and to be honest, for a match between a 52 year old and a 62 year old, it wasn't bad at all.
People can't judge Ric Flair and Sting matches based on the value of their name and the way they used to go 30 years ago. They are older now. What you see is what you get. It's not their fault. I don't blame them. It just happens. The only person I am aware of who never declined with age is Shawn Michaels. Shawn Michaels 2nd run in WWE (2002-2010) I believe the quality of his actual matches was better than before he left in 1998. That's just my opinion though.

it was a quality match, considering it was only 10 minutes and they did the ridiculous run ins from everywhere to end it as can be expected.
flair is still entertaining as hell
