(I know he won't)
But if he did, do you think he would still be getting 50/50 crowd reactions?
I've been wondering this because, the woman and children would obviously turn on Cena and start booing him but the older fans may start cheering him because its a new fresh Cena who is FINALLY heel.
What do you think

Cena won't turn heel until they get someone who can sell as much merchandise as him. Once they achieve that, expect to see it. He's still a pretty young dude with many years ahead of him and people who think he will stay a face forever, are very foolish.
To answer your question, I think he would get some cheers in more of "Smark" areas like Chicago and NYC, but he would overall get bood everywhere else.

I always think to myself, If Cena ever did turn heel would it be like when Hogan was heel in WCW with the NWO. And all the fans threw crap into the ring

If he ever turned Heel, I'm sure that within an instant, the 50/50 split would switch round. The younger fans wold boo him, and the IWC would jump all over it and instantly love him.

Yes he will get 50/50 reactions but it will be flipped.

you know, most people will disagree but i dont think its time for Cena to turn heel yet. When Hogan turned he had Sting (A Major Face) to work with, along with many others. If Cena goes heel who is going to be the top face? Maybe in a few years when he has another Face that get merch sales like him and connects with the crowd like he does. But i believe when it does happen(if done right) it can be one of the biggest moments in wrestling history.

The IWC will love him and call him the best thing in wrestling, even though the last week they were begging for him to leave. See also: R-Truth, Mark Henry.

Without a doubt, majority of kids would be booing, while the 'mature fanbase' will be coming up with inventive chants like 'John Ce-na, John Ce-na'.

I don't know. Gotta say I would still be booing Cena regardless of his persona. Just a natural reaction.

Orton clearly is the second merchandise seller in the WWE and gets reactions almost identical to Cena's

IMO, last year they had a good chance at turning him heel for at least a brief months and then turn him back face. Have Cena turn heel for a reason on another, then he "leaves the WWE". Nexus comes in and dominates just like they did, and Cena comes back because he realized he loves the WWE and saves it from Nexus. If they were still going to fed Nexus to Cena, I think they should've done this.

If Cena turns heel, it needs to be done in a major way. It has to be the biggest turn since Hogan at Bash at the Beach.

At this point I just dont think Cena can pull off a heel character if they continue to feed him every single line. Unless he has the chains pulled off of him its always gonna be a forced effort just like his wrestling abilities. Oh he will try and try and put everything he can into it but idk he probably cant do it.

It would probably be like when Austin turned heel at Wrestlemania 17. The crowd really didn't know how to react to him the next night on RAW until he cut a promo saying he didn't give a damn what the people thought, etc. Cena would probably have to insult his fan base to really get over as a heel with them.
But he's never going to turn heel, anyway, unfortunately.
