There are/have been so many superstars that have changed their look or changed gimmicks over the years. What if Mattel made a 2 pack of the same person only in different clothing/characters? Would you buy, say:

I think it's a good idea, but I personally wouldn't really like it. The reason being that I already have "now" figures of Cena, Kane, Christian, HHH etc, and I wouldn't want to have to buy another just to get the older figure.
