Alex Sean vs. Calvin Lee
Following the possible match of the year candidate involving EBR, Phillip Schneider, Hutton Brown, and Trace Demon at “Caturday 2011”, number one contender to the Heavyweight Championship Alex Sean made his first appearance in the WFWF since his disappearance after “OJ Didn’t Do It”. In a video package showcasing just what Alex Sean has been up too (which also involved growing a Rocky IV beard), Alex Sean confirmed his intention to not only face EBR at Superbrawl and regain the Heavyweight Title that was rightfully his, but also make his in-ring return on the following show. Standing across from him will be Calvin Lee, a man with a storied history with Sean which stretches over several years. After making his return to the WFWF at “Not The Bees!” by attacking Alex Sean Calvin made the world aware of his desire to defeat his former mentor, and in what’s been initially reported and later confirmed by President & CEO King Kraig, “Fun Times in Cleveland” will be Calvin Lee’s last stand in an attempt to salvage his career after a disappointing return many months ago (and as the rumors go, a last chance for Calvin Lee to get back in Kraig’s good gracious after his failure to defeat Trace Demon at “Attack Of The Little Green Men 3D”). For Alex Sean it’s the opportunity to show EBR how much his training has paid off, and for Calvin Lee it’s a chance to finally live up to the potential he’s once shown while also giving him the biggest win of his career.
Fun times in Cleveland, indeed.
Cleveland; leads the nation in drifters!
Revelation (Ace Bennett & Shawn Malakai) vs. Thunder & Mak Cross
Continuing the WFWF’s recent tradition of great tag matches, it’s a Revelation reunion as Ace Bennett and the artist formally known as High Horror team up against the make-shift team of Thunder and Mak Cross. Thunder got a first hand account of the talent Mak Cross brings to the table in their match at “Caturday 2011”, so while there may be some subconscious animosity brewing between the two men, the fact he’ll be across the ring with rival Shawn Malakai should give Thunder all the incentive he needs to work cohesively.
Cleveland; under construction since 1868!
Phillip Schneider vs. Eric Adams
At this point very little can be said about Phillip Schneider. Only two shows away from his National Title showdown with Hutton Brown, the man who has yet to lose in the WFWF since 2008 looks to continue his dominance over the roster. It’s a tall task for Eric Adams, but no one promised him easy. At least we hope no one did. It’d be real lame to find out he’d been lied too.
Cleveland; see our river which catches on fire!
Trace Demon vs. Reckless
“Caturday 2011” proved to be a disappointing night for both Trace Demon and Reckless. Trace Demon was attacked by Michael Kyzer after challenging Ace Bennett to a re-match, and later on was bested despite a valiant effort in the show’s main event. Meanwhile Reckless made his own return to the WFWF, losing to newcomer Richard Shaw. With two men having a lot of anger to unleash, they get a chance to showcase it against one another. Someone will leave slightly happier. The other will leave even more pissed.
Cleveland; don’t slow down in east Cleveland or you’ll die.
Michael Kyzer vs. DAVID HANDLECATCH
Former intergalactic Spaceman Champion and Hall of Famer Michael Kyzer made his return to the WFWF at “Caturday 2011”, viciously attacking Ace Bennett and Trace Demon. In his first match in years he faces DAVID HANDLECATCH. It may not end well.
Cleveland; we see the sun almost three time a year!
Hollywood Honor vs. Carter Contra vs. Richard Wilkes vs. Oscar Conrad Davidson vs. Stuntman
Five of the WFWF’s most exciting superstars clash in a Five-Way. You don’t see very many Five-Ways in wrestling. I’ve seen a few in porn. I thought it was a little much personally, but it’s also two different ends of the spectrum so probably not all that comparable. Either way, something good is bound to happen.
Cleveland; our main export is crippling depression!
David Brennan vs. Randel Benjamin
Two men make their debuts in the WFWF. If that doesn’t excite you then you clearly don’t respect another person’s ability to work for a living.
Opening Match!
Cleveland; our economy was based on Lebron James.
EBR vs. Richard Shaw
For weeks Heavyweight Champion EBR has targeted Alex Sean, going through questionable if not unethical measures in an attempt to get Alex Sean’s attention all in the pursuit of a match against him. After his match at “Caturday 2011” EBR saw that his requests had been answered. Aware that Alex Sean would be making his return at the same event EBR refused to be shown up and demanded his own match which, as you’d know by now being that it pre-faced this entire blurb, he was given. Richard Shaw made an immediate impact in his debut, defeating the veteran Reckless but now he gets a bigger task in his second match in the WFWF. Can Richard Shaw establish himself atop of the WFWF pecking order in just two shows, or will EBR show Alex Sean what’s in store for him at Superbrawl?
