Figured I'd start one since TRW was last seen walking into a gun store with a noose in one hand and a bottle of arsenic in the other. Rumor has it he was also planning to sit in his running car with the garage door closed as well.
First round is under way.
Yankees vs Tigers Rangers vs Rays
Cards vs Phillies Brewers vs D-Backs

Angels GM Tony Reagins has announced that he is resigning as Angels GM
ALSO...Terry Francona is officially out as Red Sox manager via press release.

So excited about Tito. If Kenny is not jumping on this opportunity, then I dont know how much more obvious it needs to be for the man.

Maddon's decision to throw some wet behind the ears rookie actually looks brilliant right now.

Maddon makes some ballsy decisions, for example putting Dan Johnson (.108 or something average) in the game with our season on the line.

Love this Moore kid. He had great stuff today and never stopped smiling.
NYY/DET game should be great.

Can't believe Boston got rid of Francona. Such a stupid ing overreaction on their part. Hope the Cubs can convince him to come help our miserable franchise

Yep. Thought he may be a little nervous but he was having fun out there. And he looked awesome against a great offense. RAIN. Least I have football.

Weird stat. Of all the times in the regular season when Halladay and Lee have started back to back, the Phillies have lost both games only once. Of all the times when they started back to back in the same series, the Phils have never lost both games. Just a weird stat.

Rain, rain go away. Hate to see an epic pitching matchup ruined by the freaking weather.

Yankees / Tigers game officially delayed until tomorrow. Wasted start by both aces. Verlander needed 25 pitches to get out of the 1st and postponement is the only way the Tigers could avoid losing.

I'll admit, I'm a little dissapointed about the rain. But, what really confuses me is the fact they're resuming play in the 2nd Inninig tomorrow. Can someone explain that to me?

It was a 1-1 game. For all we know he could've settled in, got in a groove and started mowing people down. Happens all the time.

Really classy move by the Rangers today with letting Cooper Stone throw out the first pitch to Josh Hamilton.

He seems like a good guy, and he was a great manager. I feel that maybe the egos on the team destroyed it.

CC is apparently lobbying to start game 3. The man is a horse. I'll give him that.
