I was thinking you used his figure since it did look so much like him. Great job.

thanks, yea it's pretty amazing how the ecw figure resembles him so much, espeacially considering the most of the ecw toyline had cartoonish sculpts similar to the hasbro wwe figures

Would anyone be interested in doing a custom for me? Err.. more of a part swap. I'm miserable at splitting torsos and such, and I'd like to have a street gear Punk. I'd be able to supply all parts. Probably not the perfect location to put this, but it'll def. get the most views here.

cut the music! I love that! Other than the paintjob on the head, which I am not particularly a fan of, it looks fantastic. I have used the WCW Toybiz Douglas heads for my Shanes, but have always wanted to try out the ECW head and give him a ponytail. This figure looks great. Nice part choices, nice little decal accent there. All Franchise needs is his tattoo and yellow boot accents and you're set. Nicey done.

thanks for the comments everyone , classicdas: how would you recommend improving the head paintjob? i agree the eyes are abit skriking lol but i didnt want to paint eyes,s i painted around the original eyes plus douglas had some really blue eyes, i was planning to paint the boots, but i was never satisfied with the results, i might have another go, but for now im using the excuse that he's based on his match with bam bam, where ric rude introduced him lol

More than the color just the fact that they look unrealistic. If you even added a fleck of black in there it would help. the other thing that stands out to me is the goldish hair. I feel it should be more brown and more muted. Obviously these are super minor things on what otherwise is a very nice figure.

Update on my WIP AJ Styles. Finished the painting and sealer. Waiting on the decals to dry before applying them. Still need to hollow out the head a bit more so it fits better and repaint the hair + eyebrows.

kidjoe that's a phenomenal looking Shane Douglas!
Folks, I think it's been proven that the Toybiz line of figures really has some awesome in-scale head sculpts to use with Mattels, it just requires some modding. Wait til you guys see what I've got up my sleeve...

i know there arent any better parts available, but i kinda dont like when customizers use that bushwachers torso for people like sting. the way the tanktop straps angle inward is just not visually appealing.
