damn they're beautiful! one day i'll have to give that a try! just a question here, i've tried making the1dean70 wm12 shawn michaels, and i've realised he's shorter than e19 shawn, is he ment to be that tall or am i missing something out of the recipe? btw im using e19 bryan's boots instead, which are the same height as tall boot. happy 500th page! we should have had a tribute to all the wonderful erections that have been posted(again),

I don't like to get into these Internet fights and lord knows this thread has been locked up more times than lil Wayne. And I'm not sure why it has to occur on a landmark page like 500 (again). But some of you guys need to take constructive criticism properly and stop making it personal. This is why I hardly comment on painted customs because truthfully there's maybe only 3 guys in here that can paint to make a figure look factory. The rest of you could use Jacob Rude's diplomatic critique. If you sold a piece for $120 on eBay that doesn't show you're a badass painter, it tells me there's a sucker with too much disposable income willing to buy it and kudos to you for capitalizing. This is why I appreciate fix-ups more. First because I can't paint, and second we can only argue about appropriate part choices and it still looks factory! To me it's more resourceful using what is out there than simply painting it the colour you want. And I find it's the customizes who are more super sensitive to critiques over their painting skills than folks who do fix-ups because most of us can match parts better than MDT (mattel JBL anyone?!!). Stop taking it personal and start trying to improve yourself. It is legit that these toys are expensive. Enjoy what you are doing but never stop improving yourself. I hear you Bandy. And I don't take the criticism of my work personally. I fully admit it's imperfect and it's never gonna be because my hands aren't steady enough to do it. That's why Dean's decals are so great. I don't have the kind of talent to make a perfect custom. What offended me was someone saying I "ruined" my own figures by making them the way I want them. If I'm happy with it and don't intend to ever sell it, how is it ruined? As far as my $100 custom sale, I knew it wasn't perfect. I was surprised at the price. My whole point was that I must not be hopeless when it comes to painting if someone else thought it was good enough to buy at all. Some goofball criticizing my work isn't gonna stop me from posting here, I appreciate the words. But I don't like people telling me that the way I used my figures somehow makes me a worse collector than them. It would be like me going into the fig fed board and saying, "You do a WCW fed? What a waste of your collection!" If I like it, who's to tell me that I'm wrong?

moral of the story is that if you have something to say to someone, shoot them a PM, and dont make a spectacle and ruin the rest of the thread for the rest of us.

I just want to say I love seeing the concepts everyone comes up with. I've seen ideas on here that I would have never thought of. Helps me improve me figures/collection. Thanks! Keep the creative flow going.

Those Road Warriors look great from the knees up. But I hate laced boots on LOD. Still I really like them.

Like these Road Warriors better than the real ones. They always felt too small to me, these look on par, just wish you had the real boots.

I've cracked the brock abs. Nearly breaking it. Anyway here's a comparison: Left is duggan abs, right is brock abs.. Which one do you think is more suitable?

Another project, still got to give the trunks two or three more coats of paint and touch up the paint on the head (scored the SummerSlam Heritage figure on eBay for £6 posted so won't complain)

You trying to make Sycho Sid or Sid Justice? I feel that left pic better for Sycho and right suits Justice more, just my personal thought. And I really don't like the head. Lol

Lol Not sure what difference between Sycho & Justice. In person the 'non scan' heads resemblance is good enough for me to attempt the modification.

Sid Justice was bigger in size, longer hair and blue trunk. That's what I remember

I can't figure out what makes me smile more: all the flawless erections that have been posted recently, or the fact that I was responsible for coining the term "flawless erection." Lol. On a site that is so heavily censored & vigorously moderated (see the warning post above), I'm glad to have posted something verbally that everyone enjoys, lol. Ruff Figures, I know it was a few pages back- but My God, that Samoa Joe... new levels of flawlessness to all levels of erection. And also: well said Bandy, about the argument that has caused a "thread lockdown" threat from the man himself. One-hundred percent spot-on. At the end of the day, these are action figures, guys. Common toys, to most normal people ages 16 & up. This is a unique hobby... not many people engage in it- let alone understand it. Just go to a real message board (as opposed to an InVision ProBoard, sorry... lol) where the topic of discussion is anything besides pro wrestling to see my point. Pro wrestling itself is a niche market- most adults don't understand why any other adult could possibly find it entertaining- let alone collect, let alone repaint, re-structure, or reconstruct action figures to fit the mold of the characters & athletes they admire, as they see fit. Take this comment on reality however you like- but at the end of the day, this is a very VERY small community, that VERY FEW "outsiders" would even begin to understand the meaning of. No need to take things as uber-seriously as some within this tiny bubble may take it. Not trying to stir the pot, and my apologies for the long-winded post. I love being a part of this place and calling this my hobby for over ten years... but let's not take ourselves too seriously... for fear of having our thread locked by The Gestapo. We are all at their super-administrative mercy, after all. Thanks for reading. Now, about those flawless erections- let's keep cranking them out! And also, n2jib: I personally prefer the full Brock torso, TBH. I always thought that ToyBiz head looked like Sid was about to take a bite out of the world's largest sandwich, lol. I think the more-ripped legs would be a better fit also, IMO. Nice work and solid effort nonetheless.

I like both of the bodies but the heads don't do the figures justice.

Not a fan of the facial expression on Kassius myself but love the rest of it. DB is great but I would be so bothered by him not having kneepads personally lol.
