How did you get the vest of the basic one and on to the elite? I put them in boiled hot water for a couple seconds to get them soft and carefully split them at their seams.

I haven't had to glue it back yet, but it is necessary for full closure. The new vest folded back up pretty well and stayed closed well enough for my liking.

Any info on a really good white acrylic brand paint is much appreciated. I always end up with chunky rough texture when applying whites :/ games workshop primer spray?

Billy's Elite obviously has some boot height Issues. I can't think of a good easy swap out, so for anyone planning on correcting this best I can suggest is swap out the Dolph boots Mattel used and substitute with Elite Road Warrior Boots and shorten up his calves. Any info on a really good white acrylic brand paint is much appreciated. I always end up with chunky rough texture when applying whites :/ It looks like upon first glance the thighs on the new Gunn figure are too short so correcting it may be difficult. Mattel def should have used the LOD boots but what can ya do?

Giant Bernard. I left the Tensai logo so the trunks wouldn't look too plain. 090 by the827theory, on Flickr

Jamie What era do you have in mind? Nothing locked in yet, but was thinking of one with the yellow trunks and pads and red boots. I have a Jakks one with that attire which I'll pop the head off.

Giant Bernard looks good. Jamie R3 Head Macho Man boots Texas Tornado body or R3 head Macho Man boots Rick Rude body Both formulas are way off. Hogan was never as ripped as that tornado or rude figures. Also rude was like half the size of hogan. There really is no good hogan formula with the mattel parts available. Kane or HBJ torso is the best available for hogan though.

@gottiboys2810 the medium red knee pads are crucial in this because they keep the leg looking proportioned bc you want Hogan's height so you leave the tornado calves and you've swapped medium boots with tall boots usually that doesn't work and you end up with string bean legs but the medium pads bring it together perfectly! other than that, it's pretty simple formula. that is a jakks bash at the beach head with jakks "shawn as hulk" bandana.
