Looking to create a syscho sid with any paint work, anybody have a formula? Jm thinking elite sandow and swapping the boots and kneepads with jakks head but not sure if the colour will match. Legends hillbilly jim. Jakks head.. tall black boots. Will the tall boots make him too tall? I thought Sid and Hillbilly Jim were close to the same height.

Been trying to build a Sean O'Haire using Mattel parts. I notice that several customizers had chosen Terry Funk's head sculpt. I thought Mason Ryan may work too. So here goes, my Sean O'Haire fix-up (completed the head only, body is WIP). Let me know what you think? Looks great! Exactly how i remember him.

A couple simple DX fix-ups. I'm quite happy with them!

I made this figure with @apocalypse in mind. I know you're stepping away from collecting but thanks for starting this thread. If it didn't exist, I probably wouldn't spend much time on this forum haha I also touched up Warlord a bit. I used some clay to make a longer/bushier beard. I also gave him blue eyes and touched up the belt a bit: Random Macho Man: Adam Bomb (still needs some touching up but I had the camera out):

Since I put my JBL's head on a suited body, I was left with a headless body, so I decided to put an old Stone Cold's basic head on it. I know some people don't like a "ripped" Stone Cold body, but I think it suits him okay.

thanks!

I'm looking for suggestions for a Greg Valentine and Bob Backlund headscan. Any ideas?

I'm looking for suggestions for a Greg Valentine and Bob Backlund headscan. Any ideas? I hv been looking around for a backlund head lookalike for some time. The closest i can think of is The Miz with the hair trimmed off and abrasive sanding of the head. But the skintone is not that fair compared to a Backlund. Btw, backlund is still in the Legends deal. So i guess Mattel will make him eventually.

If you are dead set on it instead of waiting, you could sand the hair off the current head and sculpt it unless you aren't confident enough to do that. Or, you can sand it and something I do on some figures with long hair, to retain head movement and not have to worry about the hair breaking off is to scalp the hair off another figure. I'm thinking you could use the BAF booker head since his hair is long and cut them off and glue them to the bulldog head. You would have to paint either way you go. There is no way out of it that I see.
