Were people seriously fighting over the semantics between a "fix-up" and a "custom"? no that wasnt the case.. i dont even want to post what it was about and stir the pot

That thread will be missed.
I'm not going to speak too much on it because I will get pissed off... but these people causing arguments every time they post need to be gone. Y'all are ruining this message board for people, and it's annoying and disrespectful.

Has the thread gone for good or can it be brought back? It was always cool seeing photos of stuff people had done, it's a shame if all of that's deleted.

I agree with the original statement made here. It being locked because of an argument between 3 members is silly. Those members should be given warnings and the posts deleted. A simple cleaning of the thread and re-opened.
If it was locked for another reason, then I have no comment.

The argument that ended the fix up thread wasn't even a big deal anyhow, but to end the fix up thread because someone was bitter and voiced their opinion is ridiculous. We can't be happy all the time, why not just shut down the whole site because of a few people having an argument?
Can we just bring back the original fix up thread? I think it makes more sense for the mods to administer warnings in the thread instead of locking

Hopefully we can get a Mattel fix up thread going again. When it was on and people were just showing off their fix ups it was one of my favorite threads.

Majority of stuff in here isnt fix up and are customs. a mattel tna figure isnt a fix up its a custom. a fix up is details that was missed by mattel on a real released figure, not a jakks hulk hogan head attached to hillbilly jims body lol. real creative stuff and hard work though but not fix ups.

I liked the thread. No so much for the fixups but it really cut down on the clutter this board has/had. The only thing that would bug me is when people felt the need to post their work in the thread, then on the Mattel board and then on the custom board. That's just completely unnecessary. I've had people say they were glad when I have posted mine in customs and the fix up board, cuz some people only check certain boards and might have missed it if I didn't. Anyways, if you don't like when people do that, just don't comment and the thread will go away faster
