What should I do to sand down the laces on Undertaker boots or any boots for that matter?
Is there a process?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

What should I do to sand down the laces on Undertaker boots or any boots for that matter? Is there a process? Any help would be greatly appreciated I hate sanding so I use a razor to cut them down as far as possible and then sand to smooth and then use some apoxie to sculpt over them and make the boots smooth but also kind of follow the wrinkles and give them some texture. Did it for some boots that are on a figure right now. Ill show it in a couple days when its finished. |

 Dont know if this has been done before but I had spare parts from my r3 Triple H so I acetoned off the hand tape and swapped the hands for my BAF Daniel Bryan. Yes Yes Yes!!! Simple, but VERY effective! Awesome! |

Whose boots would work for an Elite Val Venis? Have the rest of the figure done but need to find tall black boots for him.

Love the Kevin Vom Erich in black. Also the baby blue Kerry in elite form looks great. I made one as a basic a while back.

ThugSuperstar I wish I could be more helpful but the boots were pulled from my box of fodder. I know this isn't much help but I know those are Savage arms. EDIT: Hold up, that might be a Randy Orton base w/ shorter calves + the tall boots.

The Cena torso is a popular choice (and if you're using the Jakks head it might look more in scale with the large Cena torso). The calves i used are the "medium" sized ones. Again, it was just random fodder that I pieced together to find the right fit. Maybe a size down from the Sandow calves? |

The boots on that Venis look like regular elite style boots. Orton, Sheamus, HHH etc; As far as I know there aren't any tall black boots available for regular sized guys with the exception of The Rock. Those obviously have the opening in the back though. The Undertakers are tall but a bit too big/wide. As far as the calves go you could use Hawk calves. You could try painting the white Elite Lex Luger boots as well. |
