Kairo Makonnen maybe imgur? Its really not hard. The photo upload sites have instructions but I followed the instructions for photobucket and the freaking thing still didn't work. I'll try imgur You simply upload the pics to photobucket. There is a share icon there. If on a Pc. Copy the IMG tag. If on phone simply copy to clipboard and use the img one. Very easy.

Did a fix-up of the-long-awaited-but-still-no-glimpse-of-hope Sid Justice/Vicious figure. Maybe not so accurate ... but I'm just glad he can fill the temporary void that my collection badly needed.

I dont like SS HhH and BP billy gunns heads as much as everyone else does. The originals work better for their time frames.

It's not about time frame for me it's about resemblance and overall scan...the E billy gunn head looks terrible...doesn't resemble him at all. The elite hhh head is good but I always wanted a HHH from his days with Shawn to animate with. I'll buy another e23 eventually so I have his late dx attire as well as early dx. So I may be customizing my hunter hearst one day maybe to look like this

Finally my DX members customs/fix-ups: First Billy Gunn:Thanks for looking Please go like facebook.com/bertscustomfigures if you like what you see. Did you crack the torso and swap the neck pegs for Billy Gunn or did you modify the head in some way?

Did you crack the torso and swap the neck pegs for Billy Gunn or did you modify the head in some way? Hey, for Billy I didn't crack anything...I had to modify the head...there's a special technique I use. I may do a video tutorial some day but it simply is hollowing out the billy head then finding a head you don't care about and shaving it down until all that is left is the neck connection part. then glue it into the head you hollowed and put it on your figure. Full articulation retained. I did the same thing for my r3 Kane and TTL Triple H heads.

That's a LOT of work and wasted figures to elevate a head.

That's a LOT of work and wasted figures to elevate a head. If you want something bad enough you sacrifice for it. I rather do this than have a stiff glued head or have to use sticky tack. I take my customs very seriously. If you're not willing to do it no one is forcing you to. I just thought I'd share my technique. Most people have lot of loose old figures laying around anyways. Hence why I said a figure you don't care about and it's only ONE "wasted" figure per custom. I don't consider it waste as I don't give a crap about the heads I used as guinea pigs.

I simply drilled out several R3 Kane heads and they for great on my Mattel Kane figs and I haven't had to glue any of the 4 yet

I don't think you understand that I animate. I don't just display my figures so I need the heads to be on as well as if they were factory made. Not just squeezed on for display.

I don't think you understand that I animate. I don't just display my figures so I need the heads to be on as well as if they were factory made. Not just squeezed on for display. I've done this with several Jakks heads and a few toybiz heads as well. I use a drill bit that is just a tick larger that the ball socket that mattels use. I carve out the space around the neck area, and the heads sit snug, retain most if not all articulation of regular Mattel heads, and the don't pull off unless I give them a good pull.
