Retired Fix Up Thread

Triple H is WAY too big for Roode. Of those two, Cody is better. I think a nice medium for Roode would be a Funk body, with mix and matched arms. Give him a regular upper arm, and the muscular forearm of someone like Cena. Some people dislike the combo, but it's worth checking out if you'd like something different. I personally think it adds a nice touch to the scale of things.

Anyways, those figures are looking great ChristianedgE. So glad to see someone tackling the newer Yoshi attire (not sure if he still uses it).

Here's the Reks I'm working on currently. Sadly, I'm so out of touch with the current WWE product that I didn't know he abandoned this look recently. So I'm going to do another in his more recent attire for an order, and this one will be available for purchase once finished. I want to add some vinyl details to the tights for the little straps he had on them. Same for the gauntlet.




Still need to touch up the little details in the hair, as well as dry brush in some lighter colors to make it "pop" more.

And here's an order I'm finishing up for another member. Just have to adjust/clean up a few small areas on the attires before shipping.

I took a gamble with the heads on the first 4 guys. I just wanted to take a stab at something different. I also wanted to use the Guererro/Del Rio torso on Masters, but both figures were a little harder to come by at the time. The customer and I agreed this was a fair enough sacrifice to avoid driving up costs on the order.

This is my first real contribution to the thread, so hopefully you guys like them. I know these lean more on the "custom" side, but it seemed relevant enough to share since you all tend to love playable customs. I have a huge set of figures I'll be finishing up this weekend, so be on the look out for another update.

Also, shameless plug, I am currently available for orders.

Thanks for the compliments. I don't really recall where I found ref pics for Hawkins. I think I just landed a few simple ones off of a Google search. Then I sort of watched parts of a match between him and Baretta to get a better look. Honestly, I took some liberties with certain areas, just because it was so damn hard to see anything clear on the attire outside of his name on the butt.

For Shad, I THINK that's his head from the 2pk figure he had (I honestly don't follow the Basic line much). I removed the braids, re-sculpted the back of his head to make it even, and then sculpted a lil extra atop that to add the hair. That's actually a pic of him unfinished, since I recall coloring in the armbands to be black.

As for Masters, the customer didn't want the old school roided up Masters, so we wanted to give him a smaller torso to represent his current look. The Martel/Eddie torso would have been perfect, since it's a nice step down from the Orndoff/HHH bodies. Sadly, I had 0 access to any of those for cheap until well after the order was over.

Feel free to snag the O'Haire idea. I wish I could have done more with the goatee, but I was stumped on how to get it longer without making it brittle.

That looks good. Right now I'm using the Rhodes body but I'm going to hold off on painting and see it I can find a Funk at the store.
