Use lacquer thinner instead. Is this safer on the plastic or what? Curious as to why it is better.

As good as Acetone is, listen to TheAxeHennig on this one. Acetone is just really brutal stuff on the "hard plastic" areas of a figure.
I still keep Acetone handy, but lacquer thinner is the much safer route. There's just no need to risk damaging an expensive figure with acetone if all you want to do is pull off one single tattoo, or something simple like chest hair.

Okay, I will invest in a bottle of this. Home Depot?

I know K-Mart was charging over $3 more than what I paid. This is the brand I own for acetone and lacquer thinner btw. www.homedepot.com/catalog/productImages/300/3f/3f5b6207-53e8-492d-8e17-997780731c87_300.jpg

I like the pink, Apocalypse! I think that color is better than the original.
Have you guys tried Goof Off? I was gonna try it. But if lacquer thinner is better, then I'll just pick that up instead.

Here is a WIP of a headache I'm working on. I made the mistake of using an enamel primer and every time the paint dries it seems to rub off. Any suggestions???

I would just strip the enamel off. It doesn't with the plastic well. Strip it if possible. Sucks because you have good work done on Jeff. Or let it sit for a week and see if it fully dries. What head is that?

What head is that? Thanks for the feedback guys! I used a TTL head from a Jeff I bought on Ebay. & Apocalypse I love the variation to the Rockers. The problem is more with the areas of articulation that keep rubbing off. I'm just going to give it a few more coats and let it settle for a couple of days Hopefully that'll work.
