We need this win..The Pack line needs to step up big in this 3rd period.
EDIT: Pack line does step up, good shot by Anisimov and great awareness by Stepan to knock that in. This was defiantly more of a physical win more than a flashy win, the Rangers totally out-manned the Lightning, very good team, Baron had alot of good saves as well.

Great to see the Giroux-Jagr-Hartnell line back together. Awesome work on the power play, and Bryz looked great as well.

I'm a firm believer that Cooke deserved his suspensions, but for the league to not do anything when it's Cooke that got hit is hypocritical on their part because for sure if there's even a question of intent with him for the rest of his career he'll always get suspended from here on out. It's disgusting what he did last season, but for the league to pick and choose who gets fined or suspended is disgusting also. All or none.

There's no reason to play favorites when it comes to the health and safety of the players. But as far as the question of intent with Cooke, no sympathy from me. He made that bed and he can lie in it. Miller got plowed through AGAIN...jeeze. Not sure about this one, nowhere near as intentional as the hit by Lucic. |

Tootoo suspended two games for that hit on Miller, better than nothing I guess. NHL passes the realignment. that stupid poop. Yay for more travel time for my team! Sucks for the players but it's good for both Florida franchises that more snowbirds will be attending games. |

I think, especially come playoff time Detroit has it worse. With at least four teams Vancouver doesnt lose any time or anything. With Detroit flying to San Jose and Phoenix is losing and gaining three hours each Playoff rund and it definately messes with people. |
