At least the Flyers, like the Penguins, have the talent to at least pick up the slack that is placed onto them with Giroux and Crosby out of the lineups respectively. But the concussion bug has bit the league something fierce regardless. I mean, just on the Pens alone...Crosby, Letang and Engelland are out with concussions. Crosby is Crosby, Letang is one of the best defensemen in all of hockey on top of having the scoring ability of a winger, and Engelland, for being the goon, is proving to be one of the Pens best defensemen himself. Those are three huge blows to the Pens line up. Add in the non-concussion injuries to Park, Michalek, Lovejoy and then Orpik and Vitalle potentially playing injured...ugh. And it's hard to think that there are some teams that are in just as bad of shape, if not worse...it's ridiculous.

Road warriors indeed.
Hands down, that was Byrz's best game this season. It was a shame he didn't get the shutout though. Overall the defense did an awesome job shutting down Ovechkin and the Washington power play. Always good to see Hartnell keep his goal streak alive, he seems to be reborn since he was put in the top line. I guess I had no reason to worry about them playing without Giroux.

Anyways...ugh. Man, this game was pretty much the Red Wings vs. Malkin, as I'm not sure if the rest of the team even showed up to the arena tonight. I mean, I saw all of the Pens jerseys on the ice, but they very easily could have been fans or something. Well...regardless, the Red Wings played well and more than deserved the win. |

I think he means the constant unnecessary updates on how Crosby is feeling, especially when nothing has changed? Thats going to be extremely annoying very fast. And give credit where credits due. Pittsburgh and Detroit were tied for the majority of the game, it wasnt just Malkin. I thought Staal and Fluery had a good game too. Awesome win for the Wings too, Datsyuk is amazing. Its always nice to be on the other side of the injury bug |

That I can also see  but I know in my opinion I dont need to know every little update about how he is feeling, cover evryone equally, superstar or not. |

Man, that Wild/Blackhawks game was a ridiculously good game. The goaltending wasn't too hot from Emery or Backstrom, but the gameplay itself was just ridiculously good. Kouvia and Hossa both looked like men possessed out there.
