I kind of think Ovie will get another day on his suspension for opting out of the All Star game. He doesn't want to go to the All-Star game and is using the suspension as an excuse.

Great way to head into the break, especially knowing that Hartnell made it into the All Star game. Awesome game for Bob tonight, stopping all three shootout attempts. Ugh, they're so nerve racking.

With the trade deadline looming soon...
This year's trade deadline will be a lot more interesting than last year, alot of storylines from concussions to Nashville to Tim Thomas (yes, his name is popping up in trade rumours after the whole ThomasGate with both GM and Neely disappointed in not making the trip, not to mention that Rask is becoming better and better with every game.).
I see Parise, Semin, Weber being moved, as well, either Getlzef or Ryan from Ducks.
It all begins when Brian Burke will pull the trigger on a trade.

Datsyuk being picked first completely made my day, he definately deserves it for sure. I guess I'm going to have to root for Team Chara this season.

Why would the Bruins trade their Vezina trophy winning goalie? Because he hates America?
That's not going to happen, if anything they trade Tukka, but again, thats not happening either.

It's all about the no-trade clause, they won't do it now, but they'll do it at the end of the season. He's 37. I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't traded. |

Has nothing to do with the no trade clause or his age, with the way he's playing why would u trade him? What if they win the Stanley Cup again? Or just miss it? Or wins the Vezina again? You trade your starting goalie? No way. Bruins have cap space, they still havent used Savards injury exception . There are guys who are RFA's they might try to sign but no one major they need to clear cap space for. No way he gets traded. Better chance Tuuka does, and I'd put that at .01% |
