In a losing effort, i can't fault Vancouver on this one. Both teams left it all out there, but RAYMOND can't stay on his god damn feet! . The spin move doesn't work anymore, they're on to you.. change it up! Kassian.. i like. Absolute STUD.

Bryz KEPT them in that game......
It's becoming a pattern that when he has a damn good outing, The offense just doesn't hold up their end.

I still have legit hope that the Hurricanes could actually make the playoffs here. If they play hard and maybe, oh I dunno, win in regulation then good things will happen. Still confused as to why they did nothing on the deadline though.

Kassian shows promise. 5 hits, 1 shot, 12:26 of ice time. Had a shift with the Twins, and Hank praised him after the game comparing him to Bert. I miss Hodgson too, and am still 50/50 on this deal. My initial reaction I was devastated. My friends and I hated this deal, and their not even Canucks fans! After tonights game, the hurt goes down. I have high hopes for Kass.

It's just what hurts is I wish Canucks at least got a first round pick out of this deal too as Kassian's not a proven point producer like Hodgson was. I really hope Kassian does continue to play like he did tonight and progress into a great player for the Canucks because at his size he is what they need. I hate that they had to give up Hodgson though.

They gave up goals from Hodgson in exchange for a brute that will bring the goals out of their stars. "KickAssian" will be our answer to the people that say we're weak. Last night, he made a great debut, but it was a goalie duel.

Shanny had better suspend Nystrom for blatantly trying to take Letang's head off and probably taking him out of action for a lengthy period of time again.

Getting rid of Hodgson for the Nucks was getting rid of a future all-star, IMO, however Kassian fits their needs perfectly. Hodgson just isn't someone who should be playing on the 3rd line.

Well I'll be damned, Byrz and the offense both showed up this time.

The 4th line impressed the hell out of me. Tough as nails. Reminded me of Lappy in the playoffs.

A shut out...no f ing way. Byrz couldn't have picked a better time to up his game, what with two more d-men being injured.

Three straight, and boy did Bryz ever come up big in the end!
Shows how much this team keeps battling. Jagr and Voracek went down, and they still pull it out. Voracek could easily have a concussion, he just got destroyed by Kronwall. I don't mind the hit, it's just that Jake was laying there with his arms up, and it took forever for the whistle to blow. That impact just reminded me of that hit Umberger took a few years ago.

I hope we start to get healthier before the Playoff's come or else we are in trouble. Even if we dont I hope Detroit's level of competing goes back up, they didnt really look like they cared until the third period. Hope Voracek is okay though, never wanna see someone hurt like that.

The only thing they're saying is that he needed stitches to certain areas of his mouth. He's gonna be re-evaluated tomorrow.
