Devils, Panthers... no sweat, either way. The Flyers seem to have the Devils number, especially in recent years. Another 4-1 series win? I'll take it!
Hopefully, the Rags and the Caps beat the hell out of each other in the second round. Either team with momentum going into the finals could be VERY scary.

It's awful about the racists on twitter, and to have them associated with the Bruins is disgusting. Who cares if I black guy got the winning goal, or a white guy, or a ing neon green guy. They weren't wearing black and gold, that's all that matters. Speaking of, I saw the game winner for only the second time a few hours ago...how was that not interference on Knuble's part? Sour grapes, yeah, but I don't understand. |

They gave Brodeur a run for his money though in those OT periods I say. |

Worse than what the Boston fans said is the people that commented that they want them found and fired from their jobs. That is an extreme over reaction. They did not harm anyone they just said things that people disagree with. That is my take on that.
Anyway..
I am a Rangers fan. Rangers play at 3pm on Saturday. Caps and Rangers both went 7 games so fatigue should be even. Rangers give me the feel that they are going to make you think they are going to lose and come out winners in the end. I don't know if they will win the cup but if they do they may go 6 or 7 games each round to do it. I am going to go Rangers in 6 over the Caps.

I see the Preds getting past the Yotes, but I don't see them beating the Blues or Kings.
I fear the Rangers in the Conference Finals, if the Flyers make it past the Devils... which I fully expect them to.

In a perfect world, the next round would be Kings/Coyotes and Rangers/Devils, and the finals would be Kings/Rangers, but who knows if that'll all happen.  |

If the Rangers make the finals, I will seriously consider offing myself. If they win, I definitely will. I hate the Flyers, but at least they're not the cockiest team with the cockiest fanbase. The Rangers...even when they're bad, they have a "better than you" mentality and it peeves me to no end. I still stand by the opinion that the Rangers are no more than a flash in the pan this year, and these playoffs have proved it. They have the easiest path of any team...getting a team last round that would have been a cake walk for 13 of the other playoff teams, and allowing them to whoop on them as much as they did, and this round they get this seasons biggest underachievers, the Caps. The Flyers are hardly the classiest franchise, but I'd rather see them with the Cup over the Rangers. I at least have respect for most of their players, and the franchise itself given it mirrors that of the Pens. Obviously I still want to see the Devils win the East since I do hate the Flyers, Rangers and Caps, but if we get a Flyers/Rangers Eastern Conference Finals, you had better believe I will be pulling for the Flyers for just that one round.
Now I need to go wash my mouth out with soap for saying that. Haha.

Being that I grew up playing goalie, I always like to see the teams that win, win because of excellent goaltending. For this reason, I want the Flyers to be eliminated as quickly as possible and I want to see a Devils-Preds or a Devils-Kings Stanley Cup Final. In most situations, I would pull for the winner of Preds-Yotes, but I have no respect for Mike Smith. Either way, I want to see the Devils come out of the East and a team with a good goalie come out of the West. Despite the fact that I picked them to win the finals, I don't want to see the Rangers win the Cup, for the reasons previously mentioned. Kinda like how I picked Kentucky to win the NCAA tournament, but cheered for them to be the first team out. Anyway, that's my two cents...go Rinne and Brodeur and Quick. I'll take any of those three hoisting the Cup.

I like pretty much all of the Western teams except Phoenix, for them to make it this far in the playoffs when they shouldn't even exist is ridiculous. Meanwhile, I don't like any of the Eastern teams, so I guess I'm rooting for the Rangers since I hate them the least.

All the teams I hate are out, I wouldn't mind anybody from the West raising the Cup even though I am supporting Nashville. I'm pulling for Philly in the East too, dont care too much for the Devils or Rangers, and Capitals are meh.
