Not really, they're both equally intellectually- disabled. Well at least the NBA hasnt canceled a full season ever, the NHL is on its way to #2 in the last decade They're not going to cancel an entire season when revenues are at all time high. |

Well, it already was obvious.
But the NHL has officially cancelled the 2013 Winter Classic. Those who have purchased tickets can be given a refund, or hold on to them when the event happens in 2014.

I've grown so apathetic towards the whole thing. Like I seriously don't care anymore. It's gonna be a while before I throw my full support behind the NHL though I can tell you that much.

The city of Glendale is seriously paying $320 million to keep the Coyotes for 20 years....
Sure, some people may be out of a job....but at least all those empty seats get to watch the Coyotes when the hockey starts! Apologies to Quebec.
Also got my tickets for the Phantoms/Penguins game at the Wells Fargo Center in February today. So at least I'll be experiencing some kind of hockey!

All the rumors i've been hearing are saying that an announcement is going to be made tomorrow regarding the end of the lock out. Not getting my hopes up...but you never know, it might be true.
