Colt Cabana did an interview with Pitch.com and he said that he has not heard back from WWE officials since working two tryout matches for the organization in August. "They won't return my calls or anything," he tells Justin Kendall. "It’s pretty weird, man. I don’t get it. Nobody was really receptive. It's just like they wanted to ignore it. I think it's because Punk is such a rebel that ... they were able re-sign Punk, but I think to kind of stick it to him, they don’t want to talk to his friend." Caban was asked about the environment when he had his tryout matches. How did everyone act towards him? "All of the wrestlers and all of the personalities and all of the personnel, they love me. They get it. I think there’s just a group of people who don’t get me or don’t want to get me. Unfortunately, that keeps me away from an opportunity, but at the same time, I think the answer was so obvious to put me on TV and capitalize on it. ------------------------------------------------- Good, it'd be kinda of pointless to bring him in right now, the only reason that he was talked about because of Punks promo in June, and that side of Punk has quietened down a little bit, so itd be like oh theres colt cabana....the guy punk mentioned twice almost 4 months ago

I'm not sure if I would want him back. Just look back at what they did with Scotty Goldman.

Has nothing to do with Punk mentioning him. WWE should have the best performers. He ddin't get over when they renamed him Scotty Goldman, gave him a gener-rock theme, and jobbed him to Khali, does that shock you WWE? How is anyone to get over that way?

I agree, WWE doesn't need him but he could still do great stuff in the WWE. He's a great talent, Has mic skills and is still kinda young but hes just one of those guys who will be in the indies for his whole career. Still can't believe WWE didn't sign Austin Aries but hopefully they can steal him from TNA.

I'm a big Cabana fan but really, I could only see him teaming with Santino.

I'm a big Cabana fan but really, I could only see him teaming with Santino. Not everyone needs to be push to the World championship. They need tag teams badly, and highly attractive and charismatic ones also. Has there been a legendary tag team in recent history? They could really become something amazing, you never know.

I understand that, it just seems when anyone brings up Cabana now days, they want him to be in a programme with Punk, main eventing cards.

He doesn't deserve to be jobbing, or just not being showcased on TV either like it happened before.

Cabana should be signed and pushed to the moon as Colt Cabana. This guy has "it".

The last real "legendary" Tag Team that I can think of is London and Kendrick, they held the tag titles for almost a year. I'm not saying that they are legends themselves, but their matches and titles reign were pretty impressive. Now tag teams barely last 6 months to a years.

I was hoping they brought in Cabana and Kings of Wrestling for a ROH invasion angle leading into the Survivor Series 4 on 4 or bring in either Jacobs or Black for a 5 on 5 match.

I would like him to come to the WWE as Matt Classic. As much as I would love it, it would be counterproductive to have Matt Classic in WWE. The E doesn't need anyone telling them that the allegedly-comedic stuff going on in the ring isn't wrestling.
