Picked up some horror Blu-Rays today. Halloween, Halloween II and Dawn of the Dead, all originals. Trying to buy a ton for the month to watch in the coming weeks. If only I could find Trick r Treat. Its like 8 dollars at most Best Buys in the area. I'm still holding out for a rare copy that came with the slipcover and different case.

My wife bought me the first 3 Scream movies for our anniversary yesterday. I found tons of horror movies for $5 yesterday, including Evil Dead, both Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Let Me In and The Howling 1 and 2. Had no cash on me, so it looks like I'm shopping on Tuesday when I get paid.

Alright, had to relent and pick up the original Halloween 2 for $5 at Walmart. I'm gonna go back next week, they have both of the theatrical cuts of Zombie's Halloween movies in one set for $9, can't go wrong with that, since I prefer that cut of Zombie's first Halloween.

Nope. No slipcover. That may be hard to get these days.

Finally watched the 82 version of the The Thing for the first time. While a lot of it was dark, I still enjoyed the sh** out of it. Love me some Kurt Russell and the ending was very bleak which I think added to it.

Well I just watched Paranormal Activity, and it was the Micah-into-camera, Kate attack camera ending. Interesting movie, and I can see why it got such good reviews.

Wal Mart had a nifty little horror display this afternoon. They had 5 dollar horror DVD's and 10 dollar horror blu ray flicks. I honestly didn't look at the DVD's, but the Blu Ray selection was decent.
I picked up The Crow (not even supposed to be out until the 18th) and the original Last House on the Left Unrated. 10 each
Others that I remember...
Day of the Dead (original) The Crazies (remake) Wrong Turn The Hills Have Eyes Unrated (remake) Poltergeist II Hide and Seek Bereavment Halloween (original) and a few more

FYI: The Crow is nothing short of amazing on Blu Ray. The movie is so dark and black yet the blu ray edition is virtually without grain. They did a knock out job.

I was at a place called Cheapos and someone must have traded in a ton of used Blu-rays that still had the security stickers on them. Bereavment was one of them for 6 bucks and a few other horror titles. I might go back and grab some.

Watched Scream 2 and Nightmare on Elm Street 3.
Loved them both, especially Scream, i love how it keeps your guessing then it has a big twist ending of who the killer is. Anyone know any other movies like this?
