I will say one thing, but I'll probably get a barrage of close-minded people who bash me. I think some of you may get the idea.

Listening to music and working out always clears my mind and manages stress very well for me.

I'll play a game, or write some. My favorite way of releasing stress though, is through Ashley. Just talking about what ails me, having a romantic night of movies, food, and fun, or just cuddling and having initmate moments with your significant other definitely helps me tame my anger.
I gotta admit publicly, if it wasn't for Ashley entering my life...I'd probably be either dead or on a more destructive path than I was. I have a lot of anger issues, and I am a very guarded and defensive individual. We've been together 4 years, which is the longest I've ever been with anyone, and I can't imagine myself ever being without her. She's the strongest woman I've ever met, and she does complete me. I owe her a huge debt as far as my future goes.
When it comes to releasing stress, being with someone else that cares, and loves you, is definitely the way to go.

I pretty much use music, exclusively.

Headphones and a long walk. I used to take medication but that noise. Also, talkin to my mom works. I know that sounds funny, but it always calms me down when I start trippin out on life

Music and running always does it for me. School has been wicked stressful this semester so I've been running nonstop. Its good clearing your head that way. As far as anxiety I haven't found much to help besides that

Anxiety sucks. I hate being uncertain about things. I usually just try to chill, listen to music or go out for lunch. Taking a nice big deep breath feels surprisingly relieving.
Try talking to someone you trust/love, getting some reassurance from them can be comforting.

I get panic attacks with increasing regularity. The ones that freak me out are when I'm driving, because I feel like I need to be able to pull over at a moment's notice even if everything is fine (no car trouble, light traffic, sunny day, etc.).
It often keeps me from traveling far off my regular routes and definitely keeps me from going new places, which sucks. I've also gotten attacks at work, mostly during meetings. Usually I sit there and gut through it, but one time I actually got up and left the meeting while my boss was talking (I explained it to him as sudden light-headedness, which was part of it, so it wasn't a complete fib).
My doctor is pretty against prescribing anti-anxiety pills due for a few reasons (probability of getting addicted, concerns about too drastic a change in mood, etc). She gave me Atenolol (a beta-blocker sometimes prescribed for preventing panic attacks) a year ago and it helps a little, but I'm thinking I need something stronger.
The Atenolol also brings my heart rate down a bit, which sucks because I've been trying to lose weight and that makes it harder for me to keep my metabolism up.

I sit down and either watch movies, listen to music, listen to the Art of Wrestling, or work on my Pic Fed.

I sometimes get nervous breakdowns, like if I've had a really bad day at school or just worrying about stuff, but I'm more relaxed now so it's ok. But When I'm bored or stressed or at least something, I may: Listen To Music Wrestle a pillow.(Seems pretty weird) Mastur....(Well it's true) Sleep Play Games Or just go outside and get fresh air. Anxiety sucks. I hate being uncertain about things. I usually just try to chill, listen to music or go out for lunch. Taking a nice big deep breath feels surprisingly relieving. Try talking to someone you trust/love, getting some reassurance from them can be comforting. I'm amazed that you haven't said masturbation but it's ok.

When I can, I talk to my mom, or somebody. I think about what makes me stressed or gives me anxiety. I had a few anxiety attacks in the summer. I was riding my bike, and my arm (left) started to hurt. I freaked out and thought I was having a heart attack. I am terrified of dying, which gives me anxiety attacks. If I'm mad or sad, I just think, walk. listen to music, play with my figures (don't judge me, please) or talk to people.

Listen to music. Play guitar. Sit and just think (doesn't really help lol). Yoga.

I have terrible stress and anxiety but I don't take any prescription meds for it. Alcohol works just fine.

I have terrible stress and anxiety but I don't take any prescription meds for it. Alcohol works just fine. Alcohol does the trick for me too, but I can't use it in the two situations I'm most likely to have panic attacks -- at the office, or driving. In both cases, I'd be in much bigger trouble if someone caught me intoxicated than if they caught me in the midst of a panic attack.

A Day To Remember. Simply just makes me forget about everything. This. I also have to deal with excessive anxiety. My anxiety was really bad in middle school. I always tried to get out of class presentations. I just really would never want to speak in front of a large group like that, it's so awkward. Now here's the NEW and improved me: I can't wait to start performing music in front of a crowd in a band. The weird thing is, I feel like I'll have absolutely no problem doing that. Music is my passion. I'm going to be a vocalist in a post hardcore band and I actually WANT to perform in front of people. Sure, my anxiety still kicks in sometimes in social situations. I'm always worried people will analyze me or something. But if I know you well, I'm perfectly normal. I'm basically just going with this attitude: JUST DO IT. I know it sounds bad to neglect your emotions, but JUST DO IT. Stress is another thing. Definetely recommend listening to A Day To Remember. They have a song for almost any situation you're in.
