I don't think AYAOTD has been added to the schedule yet.
I've heard the speculation (Oct. 24 to 31, according to Wikipedia, and a two-hour U-Pick next Friday dedicated to AYAOTD), but the DirecTV schedule hasn't changed for me.
It still reads the same four programs: All That, Kenan & Kel, Hey Dude, and Doug.
Also, this week's U-Pick selections are a huge letdown.

Why the hell is Hey Dude on the regular schedule? I mean, I like Space Cases but I wouldn't want to see it every night.
I think they're just trying to really stretch this thing out as far as it'll go, and they KNOW we're all clamoring for things like AYAOTD, Legends, Rugrats, Rocko, etc. so they can drive ratings for those kind of shows when they air them sporadically.
My ideal schedule would be this: Kenan & Kel/All That (rotation), Rugrats/Rocko (rotation), Guts/Double Dare (rotation), AYAOTD/Legends (rotation). Then once in awhile air Doug, Space Cases, Nick Arcade, Hey Arnold, Pete&Pete, WWYD? etc.
It sucks because they have a lot of shows that have held up well, but only so much time for them. And then there's the shows that...for nostalgia's sake are cool to see again, but otherwise I wouldn't bother watching. They gotta fit them all in somehow. I do really like this U Pick idea, I will say.

What I would like to see is like instead of using the 10 pm - 12 am and then repeat schedule, they could have eight shows for those four hours. That way, we have a chance to have more shows on the schedule, also they could switch up the shows like every two weeks/a month.

All right, so now it's been confirmed that AYAOTD is coming next week. It will be a marathon of AYAOTD episodes, which should total 12 if there are no replays, starting Friday through Monday from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. EST. Also, you can begin voting on other Halloween-themed episodes of 90s Nick shows that you want to see Fri-Mon from at 12 a.m. to 2 a.m. each night leading up to Halloween. Here's the link to vote: 90sareallthat.teennick.com/us/base/voteThis will definitely make up for the poorly-conceived U-Pick line-up airing tonight. Edit: Actually, they will play one of the top four vote-getters each night beginning at 12 a.m. Friday, so I'm guessing AYAOTD will then replay from 12:30 a.m. to 2 a.m. (or 2:30 a.m. if all four episodes are replayed).

Even though I have it set to record on my DVR, I still don't understand the reasoning for the permanent switch. The shows were replayed from 12 a.m. to 2 a.m. anyway, so does 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. get better ratings than the previous 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. start time? I seriously doubt it. Maybe the ratings weren't high enough to justify 10 p.m. as opposed to their regular programming? It's no wonder the ratings dropped, even if only slightly, when you've repeated episodes of All That, Kenan & Kel, and Doug; the only show with new (well, you know what I mean) episodes is Hey Dude...and I don't think anyone would notice if that show were replaced.
As for "Stick or Treat" this weekend, which four shows from the options available do you want to see? One episode will play each night (Fri-Mon) beginning at 12 a.m. - Clarissa Explains It All - "Haunted House"
- Aaahh!!! Real Monsters - "The Switching Hour" (a.k.a. The Pilot)
- Kenan & Kel - "Two Heads Are Better Than None" (a.k.a. The Last Episode/TV Film)
- CatDog - CatDogula
- Salute Your Shorts - "The Ghost Story"
- Hey Arnold! - "Arnold's Halloween"
- The Secret World of Alex Mack - "The Secret"
- Doug - "Doug's Halloween Adventure"
I would like to see Kenan & Kel, Salute Your Shorts, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters, and The Secret World of Alex Mack. If it were any other episode of Kenan & Kel, I'd probably say no and go with Doug since I always liked that Halloween episode.

well it was more of a west coast problem. Us on the east got 10-12am where most of us are home, while west coast was 7pm-11pm. Blame the time zones, because at 7pm most people are still at work, school, or doing other things in their lives than watching tv

Zeke the plumber scared the crap out of me when I was little, I'd love to see that episode this week. The halloween Doug episode is a personal favorite of mine, as well.
What's with going back to the 10pm time slot? And what's with no AYAOTD yet? Come on, Nick.

What happened to AYAOTD? They said this week but it hasn't been on. It's coming this weekend. There is supposed to be a mini-marathon of sorts Friday through Monday, but only after 12 a.m. each night during the regular time slot (12 to 2 first airing, then replays from 2 to 4 a.m.). Also, one half-hour each night will be dedicated to the top vote-getters among the list in my last post. I do think they dropped the ball a bit when they could have started showing AYAOTD at the beginning of the week or, hell, start of October.

Ever hear about the lost film "Cry Baby Lane" that Nickelodeon aired once in October 2000 and never again? Here are some links: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cry_Baby_Lanewww.imdb.com/title/tt0221097/Well, it's on the schedule for Halloween night at 12 a.m. on TeenNick for anyone who missed it 11 years ago. I watched it online a few months back and, even though it was a letdown, the story behind how a tape of it was found and uploaded to the Internet is pretty remarkable. Also, there are a bunch of wrestling references in it since this was done during the height of the Attitude Era.

I mean, not for us now, but looking at it through a kid's point of view? I didn't know that complaints from parents would actually make Nick pull a movie...and why would they deny it's existence for years and years and then suddenly pop it back on Halloween night 2011? So weird...

No, it really isn't scary. Even for kids (or, at least, what I would have considered scary at 11 years old).
The subject matter was a little risque for Nickelodeon, but I don't think it attracted very much attention at all outside of the few aggressive parents who called in to complain. Honestly, if you've seen the first five minutes of the movie, you've seen the creepiest part. Everything after that is just your run-of-the-mill kids movie with bad acting and cheap special effects.
Think late '90s AYAOTD storytelling (the newer episodes) with Goosebumps special effects mixed in, and it's spread out over an hour and a half (so, it's pretty much watered down).
I don't think it's even the same caliber as either show mentioned, though, so it's not like this story was anything special that needed to be the equivalent of three episodes in length.
I'd probably rate it a 5, 5.5 at most, out of 10.
It's a decent watch if you're bored Halloween night and want to check it out, but you're not missing out on much if you miss it for another 11 years lol.
As for why Nick tried to pretend it didn't exist for all those years, I'm thinking it has more to do with its poor made-for-TV movie quality than anything truly offensive in its content.
