I would say he was a tweener around Summerslam 1997 time and fully went heel after he attacked Undertaker several times with a chair on Raw leading to their Ground Zero match.

That sounds about right. Man the whole Summerslam angle with Michaels hitting Taker with the chair... Oops lol. Good stuff that I miss for sure. It's a shame what happened in November of that year but I don't blame anyone for it. Business is business. |

The thing is with HBK's heel turn, is that he never really played the heel that whole time. If you go back and watch Raw's from 97 and 98, as much as he was playing the heel in the ring and with saying things towards the babyfaces, he was still clapping fans hands on the way to the ring.

Bingo! those were some savage head shots he laid on Taker on that Raw ep..... Taker got him back at Badd Blood though, that chairshot is still one of the craziest I've ever seen. he sure did.......HBK recveived one hell of a mauling after he escaped the cage.......and yeah that chairsot was awesome.Taker really DRILLED him. |
