June 6th, 2001; Rob Van Dam Talks About His Future ECW has owed people money for quite some time, and Rob Van Dam is one of them. Van Dam still needs his $150,000 from ECW before he wrestles in ECW again.
New ownership has made a new beginning clear for ECW, but Van Dam thinks differently. Van Dam wants his money right now before he delivers a 5 Star Performance in ECW.
Gabe Spalosky has informed Van Dam that ECW will pay him the $150,000 as soon as possible. Revenue for the new ECW will tell if ECW can continue to run, and if people like Van Dam will get their money.
Van Dam talked about getting an offer from the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) during this time. Van Dam believes that he will sign with the WWF before he gets his money from ECW. Paul Heyman, remains to run as the head of Creative, and he said that Van Dam should sign with the WWF to get some money for his family.
ECW and Van Dam appear to be on bad terms and only time will tell if Van Dam makes it back into ECW.

Wow this looks awesome, I always wanted to do a diary like this and push some of the newer guys to the moon. It'd be unrealistic bringing in some of these guys in 2000 but its just a cool concept. Good luck and keep this up.

I always thought Punk & Cabana would eventually wind up in ECW had it continued on. Nice to see it unfold in this scenerio. I'll be reading.

Ill be honest, ive been trying to find a flaw in signing Punk,Cabana,Hero,Danielson. BUT they have all made their professional debuts before the start of this diary...they just werent top name guys at that time...so that irks me a little.
Donovan Morgan, Michael Modest, Ace Bennet, Xavier, LowKi are a few of the names I have a feeling ECW would have brought in during this time...

This is looking good, I always like a good ECW diary. Not sure on some of the new additions to the roster though, Styles – ECW hmmm? Not sure. I could defiantly picture Samoa Joe being in ECW, a sort of more humane Tazz lol. But let’s see what you do with them, I’ll keep a look out for the first show.
