Why did Hall and Nsh go to wcw if they were part of the kliq at the time?

because bischoff offered them so much money, theyd have to be totally insane to have turned it down.

They tried staying if I remember correctly. I know for sure Hall said he went to Vince and Vince said he couldn't pay them that kind of money. And off to the races Hall and Nash went.

-They got "over Sting" money (believed to be above $750,000)
-Half the work days
-Guaranteed contracts with "Favored Nations" (Meaning if anyone signs a contract worth more then yours you're salary is increased to match it)
-Plus when you work for WCW you're actually an employee of Turner Broadcasting, thus you actually get Insurance, unlike in WWF.

Outside of Bret Hart or Shawn Michaels, I dont think anyone could have came in and made as much or more money then Nash anyway. nWo i really dont think was too planned out at first. From what Nash has said the original 3rd man was suppose to be Sting but he refused and then they offered it to Hogan and he refused also but realized what a money pit it could be and finally went with it. |

This is kinda off topic but I was just thinking last night. Hall and Nash may have started in WWF (and they did some great stuff while there) but in my eyes, they made their names in WCW. The NWO angle was so much bigger than anything they did in WWF prior to it.

the dissent started after Survivor Series 95 when Hall and Nash got wind of exactly how much Undertaker,Hart and HBK made for that event. it wound up being even worse when they seen how much less they were getting for their respective merch deals compared to the other 3 guys.I believe action figures drew their attention to this. In halls case it got worse again when he was told he was gonna be dropping the IC strap to Goldust-a character Hall found repulsive and idiotic.he was then suspended for drug use and kept off the WM12 card entirely Nash was told by Vince in January that his time in the main event was more or less done....he said he was also incensed by Brets meddling in his feud with UT in the Outsiders shoot Hall said he told Nash after his money meeting with Vinnie-"Im  ing out of here" and Nash after hearing about his future prospects and how he wasnt worth the same money Bret,HBK and UT were decided the same. then of course when they put the feelers out the deal was sealed-the $$$$$ that were thrown at them was extraordinary to both and as mentioned above they had Less dates health insurance creative control(adored by Hall after the Goldust deal) nearly double their pay with PPV bonus could be triple according to both. so there ya go.early 96 WWF was an interesting place to be. |

This is kinda off topic but I was just thinking last night. Hall and Nash may have started in WWF (and they did some great stuff while there) but in my eyes, they made their names in WCW. The NWO angle was so much bigger than anything they did in WWF prior to it. Its kinda nitpicking but technically Hall started in AWA and Nash in WCW. My first memories of both were actually as Diamond Studd (Hall) and Vinnie Vegas (Nash) and I really enjoyed them along with DDP. |

It was just never broadcast where I could see it so for a long time I thought GWF was the only thing out of Dallas and that people like Hall and Hennig got their starts in WCW and WWF respectably lol |
