My love affair with wrestling started at Wrestlemania VII. I remember being at a friends BBQ and inside something was on TV that i'd never seen before. I watched the whole show and my granddad came to pick me up and I told him all about it. I remember being so excited for Summerslam 91.
As for my first figure. I remember it was in Bootle's Woolworths and I got Macho Man from series 1 of the Hasbros. I went back pretty soon after and got Ax and Smash.
My wife recently bought me the Macho Man figure MOC for my birthday, which I thought was really sweet

I had a few rubbish old Hasbros from bootsales when I was little (I know I had Koko B Ware, but I had no idea who he was then)...
Once I seriously got into wrestling, my first figures were (possibly even more rubbish) Road Dogg, HHH and Al Snow bone-crunching Jakks figures from the WM XV series. None of them looked like anyone in particular, but I loved them. I used to get all my figures from Asda then...those were the days.

I don't remember any of the WrestleMania XV figures in supermarkets but I never thought to look. I got a few from Forbidden Planet because that was the only place I thought did them -- since 1994, the only place to get wrestling figures had been Argos/Index twice a year. I remember buying the STOMP Marc Mero and Sable from Toys R Us because that was all they had. Then later, they started selling more figures (they were still WM XV branded, it was the BCA series that had the first Edge, Val Venis and X-Pac figures). And after that, I remember buying a few two-packs from HMV. Rock and Mankind, and Bossman and Austin. I think they were branded SummerSlam '99 or Survivor Series '99.

Wrestlemania 16 (2000) brothers of destruction with the WCW Giant (big show) thats accessory was a rey mysterio action figure & we got the WCW Monday Nitro Arena from Argos Man those were the good old days

First wrestling figure was Hasbro Ultimate Warrior with the gorilla press action in white attire. Got him one Xmas and my brother got Hulk Hogan and we had the ring to share between us. Collected loads of Hasbro in the next couple of years, still have them in the loft now. All in excellent condition even though they were put through numerous Royal Rumbles over the years. Last Hasbro figure I collected was Fatu I think.
