After I made the hit and miss xmas thread, and some folks have spoke about their memories I thought Id ask what was everyones first wrestling figure and then their other figure memories My first WWF figure was a Hasbro Ultimate Warrior I'd got into wrestling in late 1989, my Sister was going out with a bloke [she's now married to him] who had Sky, it had just came out and he video'd it for me every week, I saw Summer Slam 89 on video and Royal Rumble and Wrestle Mania 6 was taped from The Movie Channel as Sky Sports didn't exist. Sky 1 wasn't showing it either and Eurosport used to show WWF then Sky 1 started showing it, used to be Wrestling challenge and Prime Time Wrestling Wrestling Challenge was just matches, but Prime Time was a over the table discussion which had Bobby Heenan and Gorilla Monsoon as the regular panel with 3-4 other people just talking about whats going on in WWF and then they'd show clips, it was awesome. Anyway, my sister is 11 years older than me and working, I was about 9 and we saw that Argos had in WWF figures, they only sold three Warrior, Hogan and Andre. My sister offered to get me one and I had Warrior, my folks got me Andre and then Hogan in the following weeks. The Hasbro line was awesome, I got in the end Black suit Dibiase, Honky Tonk Man, Hacksaw, Akeem, Boss Man, Bushwhackers, Rockers, LOD, Demolition, Rick Rude, Jake The Snake, Macho King, Snuka, Sgt Slaughter,Nasty Boys, Texas Tornado, IRS, The Model, Tatanka, Greg Valentine, Brutus Beefcake, Bret Hart, Yokozuna, Mr Perfect, Koko BWare, Earthquake, Typhoon, Undertaker, Bulldog, Ricky Steamboat, The Mountie, Virgil and Warlord I must have collected them for 4 years, and saved up pocket money to get them, and when we went on holiday to wales or whatever went figure hunting even back then. Awesome times. I also colected He-Man, Thundercats and Teenage Mutant hero Turtles as a kid. I remember when I got to teenage years and Action Man was the rage and I thought kids have it crap these days. Its taken until now to get cool kids toys back out again IMO. So whats your memories?

I was given tons and tons of old WCW figures (LJN's I believe?) from my cousin. But the first proper one I bought was Titan Tron Live X-Pac in his Red/Black/Silver attire. Fun times, seems like a light year ago

Fun times, seems like a light year ago I bought the Titan Tron set for my Nephew when it came out, was an awesome idea, they should do something like that today. Loved that it played theme music when you placed them on it

Back in 1998 and throughout the early nineties my Uncles were both huge Wrestling fans. They had a lot of the old Hasbro figures lying around and I would occasionaly play. In 1998 I saw my first ever wrestling match. It was from In your house 1995 Undertaker vs Kama Mustafa in a Casket Match. This led me to buying my first figure . It was a BCA Thrasher that came with like Scuba Diving outfit. Up until 2003 I collected regurlarly. Remember being so excited at Christmas and when I got my first of a figure like Chris Benoit in 2001, Too Cool and my big favourite Brock Lesnar in 2002. Stopped for a while until 2006. Started again till this year. Have stopped now but may start again in the future

Mine was Hasbro. Macho Man and Andre were my first two figures, I think, but I can only think they'd have been my first if Hogan and Warrior were already sold out. But I did get the Hogan and Warrior, and the fat Bossman, and green suit DiBiase, and all the Hasbros around that time. Summer 1991, glorious days. I remember in September 1992 being on holiday at Butlins or somewhere similar, playing with my figures on the doorstep of the chalet at night. I made friends with another boy on the coach home and was stunned when he told me Ric Flair had beaten Macho Man for the title. One of the few memories I have of Hasbros in a shop is walking into Woolworths and seeing the series with Bret and Bulldog for the first time. Might have been the first Undertaker figure as well? Anyway, this was on a Saturday morning and the Friday night had been the TV shows where Bret had won the belt for the first time, from Flair. So it was exciting to see a figure of him. An older lad was in there looking at them as well and said "which one do you want?" and I pointed at Bulldog. But he was talking to his little brother.

First real one to me was BCA camo Austin, all camo with hat.
Other early memories include, getting a random mini 6 figure cage and ring set which I can only remember it had a Nation Farooq in it, seeing a BCA Goldust in the pink packaging at TRU and trying hard to get a Commish HBK from Tesco to no avail. I may have had a couple of Hasbros of Warrior & Hogan in the early days but I never took to them.

My first figs were Hasbro Warrior and Hogan - picked them both up together from an old Argos in Bradford that closed down a long time ago. I never had the blue WWF ring, instead I was bought the red WCW ring with cage by my mum who knew nothing about wrestling. I was glad in the end as the cage was awesome. Over the next few years I picked up a fair few figures, favourites that I have kept are my 2 Hogans, Warrior, Undertaker, Demolition and Hitman. First got into WWF shortly after WM7, my mate had taped it on Sky Sports and lent me the tape - must have watched it dozens of times over the next week or so. Probably why I have such a soft spot for the Warrior/Savage match. I never collected any more wrestling figs until recently when I saw the quality of the Mattel figs. Now im hooked again, and use the excuse of they are for my son, lol. Although he does play with them all (apart from my growing set of Legends/DM/EG figs which are strictly hands off, lol).

Very similar to Luckysalt, not the story but the same sorta year and same series figure except I got Jake 'The Snake'
All I remember is being at a friends house, must have been 1990, his older brother was watching an event, we both stopped to watch the whole thing. As soon as it finished I must have begged my parents to have a Wrestling figure, my mates brother had Warrior, Hulk, Jake 'The Snake & Macho Man. All I can remember after that is the day after being taken to Argos after school and getting a Jake 'The Snake' then as they say....the rest is history!

I remember when I was younger I had a Hasbro Bret Hart and Undertaker. Didn't play with them at all really. I'd say my first "proper" figures were WMXV Billy Gunn, Triple H and Kane.

I had loads of Hasbro when I was younger. The first real time I remember proper figure hunting was for an RVD figure, i went over to my Aunties house cos she could find them on the internet, i looked at home on the internet (poorly cos i had no idea what i was doing) and just couldn't find it anywhere. Then I found the 2-pack with Y2J in Tesco and I was ing delighted!... then I had to persuade my mum to buy it for me

My brother had some WCW figures and I must have asked for something similar, for Christmas that year I got the legendary Monster ring (used it until I got the real scale a couple of years back), I also got HHH and The Rock bca figures. Unfortunatly my late Granda got me the exact same HHH that christmas without knowing (he spoilt me anyway )... later on that evening I swapped my extra HHH with my cousins Shamrock. A few days after Christmas my dad got me Dr Death, D-Lo Brown and The Godfather lol.
