My First Blog

Date: Wednesday 5th October

Just went to the IWT gym and saw a lot of familiar faces like Charlie Haas, Jimmy Jacobs, Super Crazy and Bob Holly. Speaking of Bob Holly I walked into the gym and straight away there was a bulletin board with a list of matches for Saturday’s event, I searched down the list and saw my name and next to it after the VS was Bob Holly.

The board also had a world map with pins in the country's we will visit... After New York look like I am jetting off to Portugal then Spain but you can just visit indyworldtour.com for the full info and to also see it live in their website, all ya gotta do is sign up.

Later on after my workout Bob walked up to me and said “good luck”. I nodded and said back to him “you too”, after that we went our separate ways. Great to see I am going against a great wrestler and I will be working my ass off until then to be in my best form.

Just warming up

Date: 8th October 2011

Arrived at the arena about 2 hours ago and went straight to the locker room to get changed. After that I wondered around the building for a while and said hello to some people.

The order of matches was put up and me vs Holly was pretty early on in the show just above Kai en Tai – All Night Express. After saying hello and looking at the order of things I went to a little area and started to warm up and prepare. One of the management for IWT was walking around telling everyone some news and he slowly walked up to me and said “I hear there is a wrestling scout for Impact Wrestling in the audience so put on your best show.”

I was happy about this but also nervous because if I screw up tonight he might not even look at me again but if I do well he may follow me during this tour...

Anyway it is about 1 hour until the show starts so get onto the website to watch it or if you are at the arena have fun.

This match was rated by fans as one of the greatest matches of the show. Both superstars put on a great show and really tried their hardest.

The match may have only lasted about 8 minutes but it was fast and action packed just like a fast and furious film.

Hardcore Holly started the match of the strongest charging at David Stone and slamming him onto the mat with a huge clothesline, Holly didn't give David a second to rest. Hardcore Holly picked him up and threw him into the corner, he delivered chop after chop to Stone's chest forcing the official to get in between them.

This gave David time to rest and when Hardcore walked toward him he was met with a drop kick. Even though David was better know for his High flying he was able to pick up Hardcore and drop him down with a scoop slam. Stone went for the cover

1... 2... Hardcore kicked out with force.

Both of them got up and stared at each other in the center of the ring. Hardcore was the first to react delivering a huge right hand but Stone retaliated by kicking him in the mid section and slamming him onto the canvas with a swinging neck breaker. Stone jumped on Hardcore for the pin

1... 2... Hardcore kicked out again but with less force.

Hardcore Holly crawled to the corner and without hesitation Stone charged at him only to receive a boot to the face and then a drop kick. Hardcore grabbed Stone by the neck and put him in a sleeper hold. After about a minute of fading in and out David Stone managed to grab onto the ropes. Hardcore dragged him onto the floor and went for the pin.

1... 2........ David Stone kicked out slowly.

Hardcore decided that he wanted to finish it. He picked up Stone and put him in Alabama Slam position but out of nowhere the lifeless body of David Stone sprung into life and rolled Hardcore up.

1... 2....... 3 David Stone picked up the win after a roll up.


After David celebrated, Holly put his hand out and after hesitating David shook his hand. Hardcore raised David's hand high into the air and the crowd went wild for both of them.
