  vs  This week all the focus was on rising star David Stone and questions have been asked about if he can rise to the challenge tonight. As soon as the bell rang the tank Bison Smith charged at Stone but he rolled out of the way and pulled Bison down for a quick pin but he only managed a two count. Stone used his speed to his advantage as he hit Bison with a huge dropkick making huge contact with his jaw. Stone again went for the cover but Bison powered out with authority. They both got up slowly and Bison hit Stone with a boot to the face sending him through the middle rope. Stone was on the floor until Bison forcefully picked him up by his neck and threw him into the steps, Bison rolled him back into the ring at a count of 8. Bison continued to dominate Stone throwing him into 2 corners and charging at Stone, Bison went for the pin. 1....2......... Stone slowly kicked out.Bison picked him up and threw Stone into the ropes, on his way back to Bison he was met with a huge clothesline sending him down to the mat. Stone looked out cold but Bison didn't end it there, he bounced of the ropes and jumped high up into the air squashing Stone on the way down. Bison Smith went for the cover. 1... 2....... Stone kicked out.The crowd continued to get behind Stone, this gave him the confidence to fight back. As Bison ran at Stone, Stone hit a huge super kick making a loud sound, Bison wobbled but did not fall causing Stone to hit a second super kick which sent Bison to the ground with a large thud. Stone climbed to the top rope, he got the fans to start clapping for him. Stone then hit a Phoenix 450 splash but Bison rolled out of the way leaving Stone to slam against the canvas. As Stone slowly got up Bison prepared for a lariat. As soon as Stone turned around he was hit with a lariat sending him down to the ground hitting his head hard off the canvas. Bison Smith went for the cover. 1...2...........3

Alright man, I've read through this and like what you are doing with a first person. Maybe its because its something I've never really read before. Glad you didn't go having Stone win his first few matches, I personally would put him against a few lesser known people before building up in the indys and facing more big names like Holly. Maybe that's something you might want to do in the future, give him some cred, you know? I like your match write ups and they have a lot of detail. However, I feel like you rush through the blogs a little bit. This is where we are going to see what type of character Stone is, and honestly I'm not sure what type of character he is at all. That's probably the WFWF coming out of me, and I've had the same problem in my RPs there at times. You have a reader in me though man, can't wait to see how this progresses. I really hope he doesn't go to TNA too quickly, it wouldn't be realistic. Good luck.

This looks intresting. It's a good read and you write well. All the layout looks good, crisp and clean so its all fairly easy to read. However, I do agree with lots of Ace's points. I think the slow build is better rather than just rushing into things which you seem to be doing here. Personally I dislike the Young pic base, his face isn't someone I can get behind. I like that you lost but wonder what this Indy World tour is, I'd rather you work some real indy shows. "Indy world tour" is just an awful name. Keep it in America and name is (City Name) Championship Wrestling. The length of the match write up is good with all the other updates but the last one is a joke. Theres no need to bump your thread for just a one line twitter update. The other two emails in the other update seemed unrealistic. TNA wouldn'y email saying, "we're looking at you at the moment and will continue to monitor you" niether would a doctor say "you looked a bit bunged up, let me give you a check out." I suggest you check out some other first person diaries on the board to get into the feel of writing. Matty O's HOF diary is brilliant for helping you capturing the writing voice and Kve's Tyger diary is amazing for seeing how you can create emotion in your write ups. I like this! Your match between David Stone and Bison Smith was good. I was very happy when Smith won. Seeing Stone out with a concussion makes me angry, but I'm sure you'll use it in your writing and turn things around.  Keep writing good! |

i like this. a little background on who he is and where he came from could have been helpful.
i think this has a lot of potential though and the scenario's he could face are limitless. i really like that every twitter post shows that he has a few more followers.
as people have already pointed out, i hope he doesn't hit the big time too soon. a long spell in the indy's would benefit him when his time comes.
the match layout is well laid out and easy to read.

 My Week Off Date: Sunday 23rd October It has been absolute torture being out for a week now just watching show after show with me sitting in the back waiting to congratulate the competitors, on the bright side I have had a chance for some R and R while I have been injured and even some workout sessions. I wasn’t alone for some part of the week because my loving family gave me a visit to see how I was doing, it was great having them around and it was great catching up. Last night was not needed. From what I can remember I went out for a few drinks with some other wrestlers and ended up this morning in bed with some random girl I don’t even know, luckily I was in her apartment so I could just sneak out before any trouble starts. Got to be focused from now till Sunday which will be my official return to action against England’s own PAC, looks like I am going to get a lot of heat and abuse from the fans from what I have heard the people in England can get quite vocal if they have to. I’m going to try my hardest as I usually do though so I can impress anyone who decides to watch and so I can earn my pay check. |

Enjoying this so far, glad that Stone went out of the tournament to Smith, and I like the use of Twitter and emails to further the story. You seem to have found a niche with writing this and I'm looking forward to it progressing.

Decent update. Needs some work but is good to start. The update didn't flow, one moment your talking about family visiting then about having a girl in bed. Talk more about these and it will make this better. PAC should be good and I like the comment about England. Good luck and keep this up.

Current Number of Followers- 2 042 @thedavidstone Save us DS2 only 5 more days until the big return and I can't wait. I have been training at the gym today and people have said I look in shape. I have just got to go to the doctors one more time and then I can forget about them until my next bump. Now if you will excuse me I need to have my tea and crumpets. Again another decent enough update but I feel you could do a whole lot more with this. Expand and explain, give some details on stuff. Its a good idea you got going here and your a good writer. So I'd expect larger updates with more stuff happening. Good luck and keep this up.
