ok folks I assume everyone was finished with the semi finals because there was no votes/posts there for 3 days.
so whos the greatest IC Champ of the 80s?
Im giving it to Honky.no doubt of Savages greatness and the manner in which he dropped it but for me Honkly brought great prestige to the belt.
as the despised heel champ hewas often sent to mian event house shows when the world champ was in another town.Fans were foaming at the mouth for him to be beaten and when that time finally came........he put Warrior over really well.
for me Honky really put the IC title on the map and made it seem important.

I had to go with Savage as well. I enjoyed Honky's long reign with the title, but the constant cheap endings (walkout count outs, intentional DQ's) got very frustraing after a while. I know several of Savage's matches during his reign ended the same way, but at least with Savage you usually got a good match. You can't say that with Honky.

I voted Honky Tonk Man. Savage is probably only winning due to him being more popular in general not just his IC Title

I voted Honky Tonk Man. Savage is probably only winning due to him being more popular in general not just his IC Title Savage is also winning because of this title reign, infact before HTM, Savage had the longest reign with the I-C title. Only difference was Savage was a really good heel that could work. HTM was just a chicken-crapheel that got by through luck.
