I didn't really care for Royal Rumble 94 at all. I found the Rumble match itself to be just very blah. Nobody was really in there for a long period of time. I think during one part of it there was like 4 heels in the ring and that's it, or 3 heels and just one baby face and the face got eliminated. I just felt that Rumble was bad over all.

1995 Royal Rumble
I always thought this was a terrible show. The Rumlbe match itself was bad due to the 30 second intervals between entrants and the god-awful group of wrestlers in the match. I mean seriously, look at this pathetic list: Blu Brothers (Jacob & Eli), Aldo Montoya, Duke Droese, Heavenly Bodies (Prichard & Del Ray), Headshrinkers (Fatu & Sionne), Doink, Kwang, Bushwackers (Luke & Butch), Well Dunn (Timothy Well and Steven Dunn), Men on a Mission (Mo & Mabel), Mantaur, Henry Godwin, Smoking Gunns (Billy & Bart), Bob Backlund, Dick Murdoch, Adam Bomb, King Kong Bundy, The Model, and Crush. Most of these people were in lower card tag teams, had over the top gimmicks, or were way past their prime (Backlund and Murdoch). The remaning competitors, and the only 4 that had any conceivable shot of headlining Wrestlemania, were Shawn Michaels, Lex Luger, Owen Hart, and the British Bulldog. The only thing I liked about the match (and the show) was the ending with Michaels hanging on with only one foot touching the ground and returning to the ring to eliminate Bulldog.
The matches weren't much better. The title match between Diesel and Bret Hart had a bunch of run-ins and ended in disqualification. The Undertaker-IRS match was a waste of time because there was nobody that believed IRS had any chance of beating Taker. The tag title tournament final between Holly/123 Kid and Bam Bam/Tatanka was okay. Both teams had just been thrown together for the tournament though, and Kid/Holly losing the belts the next night on Raw kind of made the match a little pointless. Razor and Jarret had a decent match, but it was nothing spectacular.
Needless to say, LOL, I hated this show!!!

I never liked the "brand split" PPV's.
The fact that Raw & Smackdown had their own PPV's was just blah.
Sorry but Kenzo Suzuki vs. Billy Gunn should have been on Heat...not a PPV.

The first one off the top of my head was In Your House 8: Beware of Dog. Thats the one that there was a storm in the city where the event was being held, and the lights went out after a match and a half. It had to be restarted/reshown 3 days later. It had nothing to do with the matches, I really can't remember any, except watchng Savio Vega beat Stone Cold cleanly. So sad.
Summerslam 1995 for having the worst PPV main event of all time
And i'll end with Wrestlemania 9. It would have been a bad pay per view if it was just a regular PPV event. Factor in that it was supposed to be the best event of the year, it made it terrible.

Armageddon 1999, Weak lower card, Had some meh moments like Kane vs X-Pac, Angle vs Steve Blackman, The Main Event was Triple H vs Vinnie Mac for godsakes.

I never cared for Judgment Day 98 either. It seemed like a PPV they used just mainly to get ready for Survivor Series in a months time.

That's one of my favourite PPV's I can see the reasoning why people dislike it though, as you say. Big Show vs Boss Man for the WWF title isn't that appealing. I thoroughly enjoyed the Tag Team battle royal, Kane vs X-Pac & Triple H vs Vince McMahon. The street fight remains one of my favourite matches ever.

Probably the worst for low card wrestlers. Murdoch wasn't even with WWF, they should have brought in Nikolai Volkoff since he wasn't on the show but was at least a Million Dollar Corp. member and although he wasn't around too much at least fans would think of him as roster. Crush was pretty much done by this point and hadn't been around since Summerslam Spectacular from what I remember. Rick Martel was a replacement for Jim Neidhart though Martel was on and off with WWF for a few years he could be considered roster even though he wasn't around for a few months prior to the Rumble. Blu Brothers were new, I never saw them on TV, yet McMahon did a pretty good job of making them out to be something. Montoya, Mantaur, Duke, Bodies, Well Dunn, Headshrinkers, Kwang, Bushwhackers and Doink were rarely, if ever on PPVs around this time.

1999 Over The Edge If Owen's death hadn't occured, that show would probably be considered a really good show for the time. Obviously WM IX and XI have to get brought up here. The thing with most PPV's though from '85-'93 though and why I can't put a "worst PPV tag" on those shows from that time-frame is SOMETHING major usually happened that saved the show on one level or another. Hell even WM IX has a few good matches and a major moment.

I didnt like Big Show as champ.. a comparison to Big Show vs Bossman would be Mark Henry vs Kofi Kingston for the WHW title, It just doesnt click you know? I like the main event it was a prelude to the McMahon-Hemlsey era other then that it was kinda boring :s

Great American Bash 2004 and No Way Out 2005 were both pretty bad.
