PWInsider.com is reporting that the current plan in TNA is to build to an eventual match pitting Hulk Hogan and Garrett Bischoff against Ric Flair and Eric Bischoff. As of now, a rumored date for the bout is the Lockdown PPV in April of 2012, however that has not been set in stone.
The rivalry between Garrett and his father Eric began at Bound For Glory last weekend, and it's being said that the tag match between both teams is the direction in which TNA wants to move at this point.
==============================================
There is some concern in the TNA locker room regarding James Storm as TNA World Champion according to PWTorch. While it seems, many are happy for Storm, there is an overall concern of Storm being "the guy" for the company and as one wrestler said, there is more faith in Bobby Roode as champion of "The Tennesse Cowboy."
It seems there are worries over Storm being "too Southern" to represent TNA.

Too southern? Stone Cold Steve Austin?

Before reading the whole article, I though they got Eric's name wrong when they wrote Garrett Bischoff. Then again, haven't watched TNA in weeks, so I'm very out of the loop.

Exactly what I was thinking. But to be honest, I'm not real keen on that idea at all. I thought Hogan's final battle was at BFG. As far as James Storm, they really have no hope if they're trying to change him. I think he's fine where he is at.

The too southern thing is a laugh also considering TNA is a southern comapny.

I don't think it has to do w/ Storm's "southern" gimmick as much as it has to do w/ them worrying that there are potential bigger stars, like Bobby Roode. I've always been a fan of Storm, but have never seen him as "the man" of any company. I think that a high mid-carder, low main eventer is right where he should be. I've always felt that Roode was the bigger star of the two. W/ absolutly no build up as well, and I can see why the locker room would be alittle worried.

You guys pretty much summed up my opinion on their idiotic "concerns". Unless there's other concerns that we don't know about.

Storm might not relate to me being a beer drinking southern cowboy. But he does relate to a mass of america. Consider that country music is the highest selling genre of music each year and NASCAR is one of the most watched sports. I like Storm as champion. He is what Roode is not....charismatic and entertaining. While, he might not be as strong of a worker as Roode.....he is more appealing, more entertaining and sufficient enough between the ropes.

I'm sure that Hogan match would be some spectacle.
